Texas law requires women to hear description of fetus before abortion

you're confusing relief..with joy.

No, I am not. There is some that feel regret, some that feel relief, and some that DO feel joy.

The law is of course just another one more in the interest of complete religious dumbassery. What goes around comes around. Jesus!

prove it....

What is there to prove? That some people really do feel nothing for the unborn? I don't think that needs to be proven.

Edit: You could look at Enolas post for proof that is right below this one if you really need proof.

Do you think most women who have abortions know that they're killing their child or are they convinced that it's just a bunch of cells?

I'll answer that one.
Yep. I knew. And they could have forced me to look at pics and hear the heartbeat and I still would have done it.

There ya go. Straightforward answer if there ever was one. No *****footin' around.

Alright, I'm sick of this crap..You are a ****ing idiot and are the epitome of ignorance and superstition that should have died in the dark ages. Good day to you, sir.
That kind of behavior will see you gobbled up faster than a plate of bon-bons at a Fat Power convention.

Was I joyful? Can't say I was. More like relieved, yes. And glad I had the choice. I chose.

Your attitude towards it does not say that, sorry.

Hon, I don't really care what you believe.

Its all about how you put yourself out there and you are putting out the imagine you don't care.

Depends how far along they are. This idea that women are just a bunch of ignorant idiots that have no idea what they're actually doing when they decide to terminate a pregnancy is really getting tiresome.

Alright, I'm sick of this crap.

First off, a fetus is attached to it's mother. It's something called a ****ing umbilical cord. Until very late into the prgnancy can a fetus survive on it's own.

Until then, it is entirely dependant on the mother. It is a part of her. It is a piece of her body. She has every right in the world to do what she wants with her body.
You, nor anyone else in the world has any right what so ever, to command her. This is blatant stupid attempts at convincing her to make an already difficult desicion. This is borderline mental harrassment.

You are a ****ing idiot and are the epitome of ignorance and superstition that should have died in the dark ages.

Good day to you, sir.

Regardless of if that child has been inside her womb for 8.9 months?

So what if some do? I don't see what difference it makes to the debate.

It has everything to do with it. The tools they are using aren't going to reach those people.

Texas abortion law sparks anger, resignation | www.ktvu.com

A new Texas law requires that women seeking an abortion to see a sonogram of the fetus, as well are asked to hear the heartbeat of the fetus.

Words cannot describe how disappointed I am.

I wonder....

Do they force families to hear a description of embalming, cremation, and burial before signing a DNR order?

or

Do they force incest victims to hear about how an arrest will devastate her mother and ruin her family?

they would, if all the victims or families were just women.

The law is what it is...and the law will stay as is :)

Texas just gave all the pro-abortionists the proverbial middle finger. I could not be more proud of my state!

and thus..the purpose of the law.

just like the law in VA.

to say "**** you", to people who are Pro-Choice.

I'll share your glee if and when the number of abortions is significantly reduced due to this measure. Until then, I'll keep saying it's a very silly law that will have no visible impact on the current statistics.
