Yeah, but apparently people don't actually do it unless there's a government doing all the work for them.

    This whole idea is foolish.

We are going to spend MORE money than is given people trying to police that they don't buy any of the "wrong" things once in a while!

Could we be more petty? While TRILLIONS get given to major corporations.

BTW, maybe that guy buying 60 lbs of crawfish is surviving paying his other bills with selling some crawfish gumbo that he makes at the bingo parlor or church? I know people who have survived by doing similar things.

    Wait, what?
    I don't think that's true.

That's not what I imply. I'm not rich, not by any stretch. But when say I want to fix a batch of Gumbo, I save up, I sacrifice. Maybe work some OT to get extra $$. If I were on Foodstamps, I sure as **** wouldn't have the audacity to use that to buy the ingredients.

I dont' care what you buy, but do it with YOUR OWN earned money, not other peoples money.

Red Snapper Filet, fresh gulf shrimp and crabs. Plus the veggies, the chicken broth, the Anduie (spelling bite me) Sausage, the Okra, the Rice... mmmm mmm good. 6 hours later of course.

Climate, changes. It takes a particularly uneducated population to buy into the idea that it's their fault climate is changing and further political solutions can fix it.

Could somebody please provide a list of what would be acceptable foods that could be purchased with food stamps/welfare assistance?

.......And, when you can post evidence that something happening has become a problem, then we can deal with a problem. Post the evidence of how much a person can earn and get any kind of publc assistance! How much of our taxpayer dollars have went to strip clubs, because I want to send more that way? Post it!

Even the very poor deserve to get drunk and see boobies.

Post what? Your post bares little relevance to my post.

And of course you have no idea if they are not sacrificing also huh? You just assume that they are not because its foodstamps.

A household only gets so much in foodstamps per month. They have to make that last and if they get something that they normally do not and costs more than normal then they have to sacrifice something to get it. It will more than likely mean that they will not have enough foodstamps to last out the month. Which means they have to start using thier own money. Which could possibly mean a late bill. Or maybe they use money that they saved up via tips or side jobs that they got through out the month. You. Don't. Know. You just assume the worst.
