"He who does not think himself worth saving from poverty and ignorance by his own efforts, will hardly be thought worth the efforts of anybody else." -- Frederick Douglass, Self-Made Men (1872)
Well done to our Navy SEAL team 6, another successful mission. Thank you for bravely putting your life's in danger for our freedom and welfare.
Not trying to take away from this event. President Obama released a statement shortly after The State of the House Address.
"As Commander-in-Chief, I could not be prouder of the troops who carried out this mission, and the dedicated professionals who supported their efforts," Obama said in a statement released by the White House.
He goes on to state "The United States will not tolerate the abduction of our people, and will spare no effort to secure the safety of our citizens and to bring their captors to justice."
So President Obama..... What about our Mexican Border? We all know that drugs and drug money help fund this country, but when is enough enough. How can we feel safe as American Citizens when thousands are crossing our borders illegally? How can we feel safe when thousands are dying and becoming victims to the violence of drug cartels? Talk is cheap, we need to act, we need to do something!
Obama is undeniably the worst POTUS to ever serve this great nation and I give him credit for accomplishing nothing good since he has been in office until now, including the Bin Ladin mission which had been a military objective since long before he was even sworn in.
The initiative to OK this rescue is what strong leadership looks like__Well done on this one Obama and a big HIP-HIP-HOORAH for our amazing US Special Forces and welcome home Jessica and Poul, even though your ignorant butts shouldn't have been in somalia to begin with.

When a crime is rewarded ~ it becomes epidemic:

In other words, you don't have any significant response to what I'm supposedly "missing" in all of this. You just can't believe that anyone would actually expect American citizens to understand that once they leave the safety and comfort of the United States that they should not expect the US Military to come riding to their rescue the moment they get themselves in trouble simply because they're US Citizens. Sorry, that's not what the US Military was intended to be used for.
