You should be happy about his post, because it is making fun of the assertion that conservatives are dumb, and can't spell. He is making a mockery of that assumption, but like I said, you wanted to be offended, so here we are. I didn't expect you would be a fan of political correctness.

Nope, much like Stewart, or Colbert, I don't think it was actually a joke, that is only the excuse to deflect condemnation.

Little known fact: Living in China does not instantaneously change one's views on cats. I thought it would, but nope. Friend of mine lived in China for a few years and she still loves the wretched creatures. Cats, that is. She hates the Chinese now.

He doesn't look much different than the person who killed the cat and painted liberal on it, to me. I'd say once hackery reaches the point that you don't care about other people based on their affiliation (espcially in the case of political assassination) , then it's not simple hackery and it's a social concern and should suggest the hack is actually clinically psychotic.

I'd say it's not irrelevant. We should be aware of the media and of others involved in politics being too hostile and using rhetoric of fear and hate when addressing their supporters and large crowds. We should be intelligent enough, as a society, to say it's ok to not like this candidate for valid, intellectual reasons or that is fine to run a negative campaign against another candidate, but actually demonizing political figures, political parties, and citizens fighting for their rights should be off limits.
