If it is fair to test welfare recipients, then it is only fair that those who made that law be subject to the same law.

    Article is here.
Cut her some slack.... she is dealing with the fact that the Republican presidential field is a mess. They are forced to go with Romney and, despite having a ton of money to spend, he is going down in flames in November. That's enough to make any Republican have two or three too many.

So this guy was preaching against DUI while the Democrats are for DUI? Or they have no opinion on DUI?

Would it be correct to say that we all agree that DUI is wrong and that whoever does it should suffer the consequences? That most people stray occasionally but we should have some sense of proportion about the sins committed and apply them equally?

We are all aware of the hypocrisies that exist among those with political interests and with that in mind I doubt that you would have mentioned this had he shared your politics. Hypocrisy for others but not for you? That seems to be the case here.

You know...its actually REALLY funny you keep bringing up Clinton and the whole 'pants down' thing. While you want to call it hypocrisy, you DO get the Clinton Lewinsky thing was NOT about having an affair...it was about lying under oath...while your hero was on trial...for having his sweatpants down around his ankles jerking off and then asking a state trooper to send a camapign staffer in to see him...and then standing up and letting the towel over his junk fall to the ground and asking the camapign staff worker, without the benefit of wooing, to blow him...right? Thats the guy you keep rushing to bring up...a guy who molested a child, admittedly stuck a cigar in her vag and smoked it, a guy accused of sexual harassment (hey...speaking of hypocrites...I thought liberal types were supposed to be championing the rights of women?). A guy accused of sexually assaulting a whyite house employee on the day of her husbands funeral...a guy who was accused of raping another campaign staffer and a guy that has had multitple extramarital affairs, all denied and chalked up to nothing more than a 'vast right wing conspiracy'.

Yeah...those lib heroes you keep bringing up...you ignoring their deeds...you are ****ing lilly white, arent you...

As I mentioned, it would not be newsworthy outside of his home state if he wasn't hypocritically pushing for drug testing of public assistance applicants while he, a state legislator, appears to have a substance abuse problem. Given that Democrats do not push for drug testing of public assistance applicants, this would not have been an issue if he was a Democrat.

And you know as well as I do that that is total bull****. Clinton would never have had to testify about Lewinsky if Gingrich and the other Republican attack dogs hadn't been going after him over the Lewinsky affair. Surely you recall Bob Barr calling for Clinton's resignation based solely on the affair? And perhaps you recall Barr's subsequent admission that HE had not only had an affair, but fathered a child with his mistress? And maybe you recall Bob Livingston going after Clinton ... and then resigning when HIS extra-marital affair(s) were disclosed? The holier than thou Repubicans!

while your hero was on trial...for having his sweatpants down around his ankles jerking off and then asking a state trooper to send a camapign staffer in to see him...and then standing up and letting the towel over his junk fall to the ground and asking the camapign staff worker, without the benefit of wooing, to blow him...right?
WTF are you smoking? Are you trying to describe the Jones lawsuit, that was dismissed? Are those the unproven allegations that you're trying to describe?

Molested a child? Do you think just making **** up improves your nonargument?

In any case, it's a weak attempt at diversion. I have been talking about Republican hypocrisy -- not defending Bill Clinton. Obviously you can't deny that Gingrich was ****ing around on his second wife (after ****ing around on his first wife) while he was attacking Clinton over his affair with Lewinsky.

Yeah...those lib heroes you keep bringing up...you ignoring their deeds...you are ****ing lilly white, arent you...
So basically you have no answer to the hypocrisy charge.

Clinton testifed because he was ON TRIAL for sexually harrassing Paula Jones. How did that trial end up? Im making absolutely nothing up...simply stating facts...which I know you dont want to hear. Your hero...the example YOU brought up, was whacking his monkey and asked a campaign staffer to kiss his junk. Thats what he was on trial for. He lied about the other affairs, including yes...sticking his cigar into the vag of a WH aide (who by his own definition was a child) and then smoking it while under oath. Your hero has the morals and character of a ****ing gutter monkey...yay...your side.

As I think I just mentioned, the Jones lawsuit ended up being DISMISSED. That's the lawsuit that she didn't bring when the incident allegedly happened. It's the one that she waited two years and 354 days to bring -- two days before the expiration of the statute of limitations. The one that was handled by a series of right wing activists? The one where she was attempting to blackmail the President?

Your 'hypocrisy' charge is idiotic...at best. Dood got popped DUI. He was .02 over the legal limit. Thats bad...thats a crime...that is all. Unless Georgia has changed its laws, alcohol is a 'legal' drug'. Are you suggesting there is something...anything in the legislation he supports that would deny people benefits for drinking...even drinking to excess? Of course not...but hey...dont let the facts get in your way. You are engaged here for one reason...you and the other mindless partisan hacks trolled the sites looking for something...anything...to jump on.

Wow, you really don't get the whole hypocrisy concept, do you?

One has nothing to do with the other.

Because he is suspected of DUI does that mean there should be no tests done on welfare recipients? Or any government employees? What does state legislation have to do with the actions of one person?

So Democrats don't care if welfare recipients are on drugs it seems. Just give them the money and leave.

But of course that's their constituency we're talking about.
