No one could ever buy their way out of Hell, indulgences are grossly misunderstood. The concept of limbo was never dogma and years ago it was dispensed with altogether.More than that, by its exclusionary religious practices, the idea that one can buy (with $$) their way out of mortal sin through Special Dispensation, that if one dies in mortal sin they go to hell, and that babies who die without being baptised are kept segregated in limbo. I could go on. Thank God they can eat meat on Fridays now or hell would be full.
The morality of abortion is not a religious belief, any more than the morality of slavery, apartheid, rape, larceny, murder or arson is a religious belief. These are norms of the natural law of mankind and can be legislated even in a completely religionless society.
If there's a god, damn it she won't mind.
If there's a god, baby she won't mind.
