No, it didn't. You were using the same stupid redirection ploy that all liberals use when they are cornered. If you can't answer a question, blame George Bush or the conservatives!!!

I don't like legalized gay marriage. That's my beef. I happen to be a traditionalist when it comes to this subject, and homosexuals should have no part in it. Just like polygamists, bigamists, or lovers of beasts should have no part in it.

By all means then, feel free not to marry a person of the same sex as you. Phew, problem solved.

Problem not solved. We still have to deal with the agendas, media messages, leftist educators.... Phew! so much work yet to be done!

Can you give an example of "having to deal" with those things? Do you just mean you don't like knowing that not everybody is a bigot? Because if that's all it is, I'm sorry, but that's not a very weighty concern.

Oh, I thought you meant rituals such as genuflecting or something rather than cultural traditions of various societies. These don't have anything to do with doctrine or anything that matters. You know, pick a day other than December 25th or the vernal equinox or whatever to observe Easter. Whatever. You're right; this is all "minutia," nothing drastic or even consequential.

I'm not sure what you mean. From around 300AD, for the next few hundred years they would often usurp pagan festival dates and that sort of thing. Both because the symbolism could carry into a Christian setting, the pagans after all often chose their symbolism for a reason, and to easier win over converts. I do not know what you mean by taking the rituals of Dionysius. If you mean the mysteries I do not recall that Christian's actually adopted the rites of the mysteries per se.

Not really. The whole be kind to people, give to charity, and accept Christ as your savoir are the core principals.
The core of Christianity is St.Irenaeus' 'God became Man, that Man might become God'. To become Christ like we need to have our lusts and desires under control and in order.

You do know there are traditional Christians ways of reading and interpreting Scripture right? That these fully explain why we do not have to maintain the Jewish dietary laws but do have to keep to basic sexual morality and other such rules?
