That has not been true for generations.

We could, of course, speed up adoption by offering bigger incentives and/or increasing gas taxes.

no, we are not.....once nuclear power plants are no longer able to store their own spent fuel, they will lose their license to operate...

Not necessarily. It could be accomplished solely through a carbon tax or cap and trade program.

Or we could just bend over and take Canada's pipe, and feast on the goo from the ME and Hugo Chavez.

To stop jobs and to stop listening appeals to a great many folks these days. Those are their alternatives to progress and yet, surprisingly, they call themselves "Progressives".

Well if they cant then im sure some other enterprising business person will be willing to get paid millions of dollars to do it. But i think Energy Solutions can and is handeling a goodly portion of it.

    Thats been true for generations.

That it is a feasible idea now or in the near future? Of course not.

The fact is that there are types who want all traditional sources of energy stopped or curtailed without having any alternatives in place. It seems they really do believe that a president with no business experience whatsoever, in fact no achievements to speak of at all, can solve the world's energy problems.

Carbon tax? Is that like a carbon credit? People keep talking about the tax credits available to electric vehicles, yet the government has realized that they arent making as much money off these vehicles since they arent paying 42 cents per gallon of gas, in taxes. So what do they do? They slap a $100 registration fee on all electric vehicles! Its only going to go up from there!
