Fine, with $40K you could by over 600 ball joints...I am sure that would more than solve that problem...But the real reason for your smugness was to look down your nose at those of us whom don't go out and buy some green rollerskate in support of a scam to create a currency out of thin air.

Oh, I dunno... the real reason could be a sense of elitism, intellectual superiority, or disdain for a demonstrated aversion to deductive reasoning. But those would all be considered items of an ad hominem personal nature, and what does that add to the discussion? Nothing, so let's just leave personal insults to those who have nothing else to contribute, hmm?

You'd be wise to do so.

Come to think of it, I did buy that 1998 Dakota new... $22,000 back then, adjusted for inflation (and we all know how bogusly low that figure is, eh?) would be $30,500 today. Getting into Volt territory, if only I could afford the $30,000 solar cigarette lighter charger

I mean the cost of the car -- what someone pays to purchase one.

As usual your wingnut source is full of **** on the $250k per car claim.
