Was the child being harmed or injured? No? Merely being in a bag is not abuse. Now if the child had a fear of being in dark enclosed spaces, or even crying then you might have a point.

Her son was IN TROUBLE. They called her TO school to come and GET him. It's not like they were on the playground having a good time or something - he was tied up in a bag and in the middle of a hallway waiting for his mom to come and get him.

They picked up the phone - dialed her number - talked to her -a nd told her to come and get him because he was out of control. She arrived: found him holed up in a bag in the middle of a hallway and your response is "oh - maybe they were playing"
The school didn't have a lycra bag to deal with him. In their minds it like they found the next best thing.

Can you not possible see how this is NOT PLAYTIME?
Was the kid crying, was the kid traumatized?

Geesh - your stupidity and blatant wishy washiness is ruining my Christmas . . . I'm out of here.

    You've got issues.
You acting like a bat **** insane overeating woman is saying that I am wishy washy and stupid?
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"

No, actually, as someone posted earlier, there is a therapy bag that isn't used for behavior problems at all, but rather sensory issues - but a kid might find it calming. We don't know if that's the kind of bag that was used though, or exactly why.

Many times with autistic kids their "behavior problems" are sensory issues. They aren't being ornery just because it's fun. They're over-stimulated and need some help calming down.

Are you for ****ing real? I never used my uncle as a platform for modern education reform.

Tying up kids in a duffle bag is wrong. Unfortunately, we are discussing this issue with you defending this practice.

I understand it perfectly. However, what I don't understand is your response. According to you, I am a terrorist. Why would you correspond with a terrorist?

I would appreciate it that you wouldn't correspond with me.

You are the one who assigned that label. I would appreciate it if you didn't correspond with me.

No contact, no drama. It is simple as that.

    Now, don't respond.

Thats why I said I would like to hear more about the story. A green 'bag' is commonly used as an adolescent restraint for out of control individuals in detention centers. I have seen where others have said that what was some sort of a sensory deprivation tool. I dont know which was used here. Either would be ineffective for many autistic kids as they are extremely sensitive even to certain types of fabrics and sensations.
