How about we fix OUR country before we try nation building ok?

Yes, because the $50 billion per year wouldn't disappear into the sea of union payola when compared to this current thief -n- chiefs TRILLION plus vomitorium of frivolous spending for the past three years....GAWD you libs are just ridiculous with your knee jerk criticism sometimes.

At the very least maybe Obama could have traded Iraq for our drone in Iran....As it stands now he got nothing....What a superior negotiator...

Where did I say it would have to go to unions? I simply corrected YOUR error in saying "what aging infrastructure?".

Regardless of how, there is in fact a serious problem with the aging infrastructure we currently have. I'd rather money go to us to fix what we have than to the Iraqis, sorry.

You really can't step back long enough to look at something without a liberal/conservative bias can you?

No, the Iraqis are tired of us, no amount of negotiating (that would have benefited us) would change this. But please, go ahead on your foaming at the mouth Obama rant.

Arabs for the most part (around 85% of them) are ignorant, completely uneducated. Violence is their way of life. Starting the war was the first mistake, not actually fighting to win was the second mistake. We need to just turn our backs on them and let them duke it out.

"I" made a comment dismissing aging infrastructure? where?

Regardless of how? Backtracking now are we? See, that is what happens when you throw out mindless talking points. Let me tell you a little ditty in my area to make my point if I could....

Last year Duke Energy came forth with a doubling of electric rates for what they said was a need to improve, and or replace our out of date infrastructure that existed in our area, this was approved and our electric bills doubled immediately. As the year went along, it was far and few between that anyone that I know could point to of these projects taking place, except for a very few. Now this year, Duke comes back and says that they need another doubling of rates for guess what? That's right, improving, and or replacing out of date infrastructure. This claim of all these projects that we need to do right this minute is a bunch of malarkey, and only a way of soaking the customers.

But regardless of my anecdotal evidence, there are things that should be done, and are appropriated through the course of normal congressional business. Where did that money go? And if you say to Iraq, then please show in plain, and clear numbers that money was actually taken out of the money already appropriated, and diverted to pay for Iraq. Without that, I think you are talking out of some other orifice rather than your mouth. Sorry.

You really can't step back long enough to look at something without a liberal/conservative bias can you?
Oh please. I know it was easier when everyone was asleep, to ram through your every progressive wet dream through the use of disingenuous pablum which uses a paragraph to say one sentence, but people are waking up now, and you can't get away with it.
