AUSTAN GOOLSBEE: I think the world vests too much power, certainly in the president, probably in Washington in general for its influence on the economy, because most all of the economy has nothing to do with the government.
Everyone deserves to die. It's the one thing that all of us can count on, from the day we're born. Law enforcement is a dangerous job, and it's silly to be outraged over how much more or less dangerous it is on a year-to-year basis. Get them some more training to avoid and survive ambushes, and don't be surprised when mistaken police shootings rise. This isn't a big deal.
