I see. So you're complaining because it DOESN'T bother you?

But why should it be headlines? When you saw your displays of affection, did you get on the horn and call the local paper and tell them to get down there right away and get a shot of people kissing? It is obviously news right?
The owner of the newspaper thought so. Are you suggesting that someone should have the power to censor the news?

I am happy that they are happy, I just don't need it taking up my time in the news.
Then just bury your face in the comics section

Because they like each other. Is that so ****ing hard?
Nobody who wins a war indulges in a bifurcated definition of victory. War is a political act; victory and defeat have meaning only in political terms. A country incapable of achieving its political objectives at an acceptable cost is losing the war, regardless of battlefield events.

Bifurcating victory (e.g. winning militarily, losing politically) is a useful salve for defeated armies. The "stab in the back" narrative helped take the sting out of failure for German generals after WWI and their American counterparts after Vietnam.

All the same, it's nonsense. To paraphrase Vince Lombardi, show me a political loser, and I'll show you a loser.

Are they? Most gay people don't show off their gaydom. Hence why this is news because this is the first time something like this has happened. On the other hand, those straight people, damn them for shoving their hand-holding in our faces they should be ashamed of themselves.

In my experience, kids understand such things much easier than adults most of the time.

Yeah. At least with lesbians couples I know I have no shot. When I see a heterosexual couple walking around holding hands I get pissed knowing I could have her.

I love it when people conflate political justice with political correctness. It just cracks me up, and is in no way intensely stupid.

Would it have mattered? She was impregnated by God (according to your mythology). Why would her sexual orientation have any impact on that at all?
