Gun Sales Increase For Christmas

I got my first .22 rifle as a supposed Christmas present, but I actually got it before Thanksgiving. It was a Remington Speedmaster that shoots 3 types of .22's, Shorts, Longs, and Long Rifle. I still have it, and other than some scratches, it shoots just as accuratly as the day my father gave it to me. I remember you coulld buy a gun quite easily, but you had to sign your name in a book if you bought ammo. That was back in about 1970. That is no longer a requirement. Glad they got rid of that stupid requirement.

The increase in gun sales is this year over last year. Did all these fathers suddenly decide to buy their kids guns this year that didn't last year ?

Or maybe guns are mysteriously on sale this year and not last year ???

Maybe you missed the word "logic" in his post, but that wouldn't be the first time for you.
