Time Magazine's Person Of The Year Is THE PROTESTER

The occupy movement is the pinnacle of the "Useful Idiots" line of thinking. Get a bunch of morons to believe they are doing something, stir up a revolution, gain political power. The OWS fools don't realize is, their end goals, would be tyrrany.

Hmmm... imagine if you said it like this...

If I had said that, it would'nt be remotely true. See the Tea Party wants LESS Government, less Bureacrats taking care of us and making decisions for us. The OWSer's want MORE Government, want more STUFF taken from others and given to them. Their gaol of "Fairness" means someone (Government), must use force to TAKE from those that have and give it to those that do not.

And Thunder...

Do you know who started the OWS movement? It wasn't grass roots, it was well organized and planned, by folks who want MORE Government.

How 'Occupy Wall Street' Started and Spread - US News and World Report

Follow the timeline, the backers. It's pretty obvious to all but the most partisan or obtuse that OWS was astroturf of the highest order, all to benefit left leaning powers. Funny thing is, they created a monster that is going to bite them in the ass.

Oh, so it wouldn't be true because what? They're right wing like yourself? Lol.

See the Tea Party wants LESS Government, less Bureacrats taking care of us and making decisions for us.

Nonsense. The Tea Party is an useful front of people who don't want to be labelled Republicans but still support all the same big government Republicans. You notice how not a SINGLE member of the house elected by the Tea Party has actually carried out on any important points of their "small government" agendas?

Agree.
They tend to pick the most popular person/persons of the year, not necessarily the most significant to humanity.
I say their "person of the year" pick is quasi tabloid-ism.

Its just like what the Pulitizer Peace Prize has gotten to be...a waste of time

Or Samsung, Hyundai, LG, or those giant chaebols

Thats all good stuff btw....theyve come along long way...Id much rather by Skorean made products than chinese...

note on the cover "from the arab spring to the OWS", I guess the tea party wasn't protests. :ssst:

You have it backwards, bro.

Got any documentation, evidence (excluding youtube videos) of how the Arab Spring (never mind the idiotic media's name on the Arab uprising. The Prague Spring which inspired the term failed miserably) inspired OWS?

did I say that OWS inspired the Arab Spring???

:lamo

Maybe this is hard for you, but you should at least try to pay attention....

The arab revolutions, occupy movement, the overthrowing of several government because of these movements, greece protests, and now Moscow is "irrelevant"?

are you really hitching the #ows wagon to the arab spring?

OWS has inspired protests across the world.

ok, so you concede that I did NOT say that OWS inspired the Arab Spring protests. I'm glad.

:)

thunder, why prevaricate, I quoted the exchange, and you still deny it, Why would I continue arguing after proving you wrong? Have a nice day ol chap.

thunder, why prevaricate, I quoted the exchange, and you still deny it,....

ok, I see you are not understanding. but this is not due to my comments not being very clear & easy to comprehend.

Again, let me make this very clear: I never said that OWS inspired the Arab Spring.

why didn't I say this? because Arab Spring PRE-DATES OWS!!

what was I referring to, if not Arab Spring? OWS inspired like-minded protests in Europe & Asia (and possibly also South America but I have to check on this).

That's what I was talking about. NOT Arab Spring. Do we now understand?

Methinks there's an enormous difference between an armed Muslim Brotherhood protestor in Egypt and an attention-whoring lazy rich kid in Seattle.

And aren't tea partiers protestors, too? They don't count because they have jobs and play for the other team.
