You have to ASK the churches for help, just like you do the government. Again IT IS NOT THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE AMERICAN TAXPAYER TO PROVIDE CHILD CARE. Get the point?

What? Explain better please, that makes no sense. I can't remember anything on my tax form asking what services I wished to spend my money on.

that's a cute strawman you made up there. we don't get to choose which programs are taxes are spent on.

We do get to decide, through our representatives, what is a productive use of funds, and what is just bribing people for votes with heart string stories and unaffordable programs.
Climate, changes. It takes a particularly uneducated population to buy into the idea that it's their fault climate is changing and further political solutions can fix it.

yes...we should rely on donations to fund our government...that worked really great before didn't it. when the states under the articles of confederation didn't have to pay taxes, they didn't.

So basically you're admitting that you are all talk, and want others to pay for what you want to give away. I say find a poor family, and give them half your paycheck. Show them you care.

right, again, you conservatives use personal attacks when you've got nothing else. do you know who i am? oh...YOU DO? huh....well you know, its not like i'm an Eagle scout who spent a lot of time at food drives for low income folks, or its not like every time i see a person from the red cross or something at a wal mart asking for money i don't give some (around 10-20bucks), or a veteran's donations fund, or selling poppies for disabled veterans, or spent hours doing canned food drives in my own little town, or did projects for the community and local churches...no i totally don't do any of that, because obviously you know me soo well, that by what you said I MUST HAVE NOT DONE any of those things....wow, and all this time, i thought i was a generous person...damn for me then. NOPE i am allll talk!

and im pretty sure...the highest tax on anyones income in this country is 35 percent...is that half of their income? it must be, i guess all this time of learning how percentages work and fractions and stuff was a waste because there is NO WAY you could be wrong, after all how could you be wrong, with that cool picture of Tomas Jefferson with some sun glasses on.
