This is short sighted. If you go to one, for the most part they give the administration a pass. These were the far left who thought Obama was thier liberal savior, when he pretty much continued the Bush policies, they revolted but against the banks.

See chris mathews to get the pulse of the far left disapointed obama supporter, you see them all over these forums as well. The magic is gone.

But signs like this, where his base is hounding him, protesting, is a good sign that he's in trouble.
That assessment is idiotic! Did you guys happen to read why they are protesting Obama's visit?

"“Obama is a corporate puppet,” one said. “War crimes must be stopped, no matter who does them,” read another, beside head shots of President George W. Bush and President Obama."

Does it sound like they are protesting about him being to conservative or too progressive?

And which of the potential candidates running against Obama is more progressive than he is?

So, why would people protest against Obama being too conservative, and then vote for someone more conservative?

Afraid I don't follow your logic there.

I have been to one, in fact I've been to two. I'm not part of the OWS movement but I did check them out. There are conservatives there too, although they are more classical conservatives (in the economic sense). I find they are more left leaning libertarians if you want to put a political spin on this. I don't believe the movement is pro-democrat.

So they stay home, or they are hypocrites, which one?

left leaning libertarians is an oxymoron.... you mean pot heads.

I've seen zucotti park numerous times, it is a far left hippy drum circle of dubious causes. in fact when asked who momar quadaffi was 1 in 5 knew, 1 in 10 thought he was the falafel cart at the SW corner.

They pay lip service to government responsibility., that's where they fail.

    LOL...cons are so funny.

They think that because some aren't 100% in agreement with every thing the dems do, that'll drive them into the arms of the cons who do nothing they like.

    Cons are funny. Funny cons.

I don't think they fell for hope and change unless they hoped getting rid of GWShiiteForBrains was a hoped for change. Republicans still won't admit what a weasel he was and that's why they won't get elected. "If you don't acknowledge the mistakes of the past, you are doomed to repeat them." No, thanks.
