A lot of big companies are using natural gas and hydrogen to fuel their commercial fleets. It makes good sense if you have the infrastructure to support it.

Wow, you guys are crazy. You'll look for any reason to hate a product that goes against your ideology, eh? Did you guys want to quit gas engines when Toyota's cars began having their accelerators stick? Probably not, because that's ****ing retarded.

    Look at yourselves.

Toyota wasnt at fault in that case. In almost every case the driver hit the wrong pedal. And a car magazine did a test to see how the brakes work in a car with the gas floored and it stopped in a reasonable distance every time except with the Mustang GT500 but then again that car has almost 500 hp.

Uhh, I am not sure that's true. They don't issue recalls for human error. Much like Fight Club points out, there are actually plenty of actuarial decisions made when deciding to do recalls, but I don't think human error is involved in them.

    Oh, wait:

    Hold on . . .

    Whoa!!!!

It's quite obvious to me that automobiles are inherently unsafe. For all of those who touted automobiles as the next best thing to sliced bread, it would seem they have issues. Let's outlaw 'em!
LOL Maggie! At first I was like "Is she serious"? Then I realized what you were doing. I got a good laugh out of it, thanks
Nobody who wins a war indulges in a bifurcated definition of victory. War is a political act; victory and defeat have meaning only in political terms. A country incapable of achieving its political objectives at an acceptable cost is losing the war, regardless of battlefield events.

Bifurcating victory (e.g. winning militarily, losing politically) is a useful salve for defeated armies. The "stab in the back" narrative helped take the sting out of failure for German generals after WWI and their American counterparts after Vietnam.

All the same, it's nonsense. To paraphrase Vince Lombardi, show me a political loser, and I'll show you a loser.

I am positively sick of that commercial.

Her post actually pissed me off so much that I didn't finish it. If it wasn't for you, I would have never seen how reasonable she was actually being.

Now if only the rest of them would learn from her logic...

I would punch every person who said, "but I thought that car is electric" in the face if I was that guy.

A couple of examples were due to the floor mat hitting the accelerator pedal.

Toyota Avalon displays unintended acceleration without floor mat

However most were due to the driver hitting the wrong pedal.

Edit...I was slightly wrong. It wasnt a GT500 that they used it was a Roush Stage 3 Mustang. But I was right about the results.

I would just man up and admit that I needed to take a piss if I were that guy.
