Had the shopping experience not been frenzied and crowded, the pepper spraying would not have happened. Frustration.

Greed exists as a solitary condition (no external trigger needed).

Barbarism, I could maybe go there. Mob mentality and all... if she had pepper sprayed someone, then grabbed a $9.95 umbrella ($4.95 on sale, $2.95 between midnight and 1:00 AM only, designer colors) and repeatedly stabbed the victim until entrails were rent upon the floor, then yeah -- barbarism

It was crazy, and the other stores just weren't like that. Not surprising stuff like this happens.
This is true - I've never seen it but I've seen them setting up displays in stores.

If they were remotely concerned about safety and orderliness they'd forgo anything that would invite a massive crowd - doing things online with a ticker system would be most ideal.

That or they could just form a line, and give out tickets for things on sale. They were doing that for some items last night(my aunts stayed in line for 2 hours for digital cameras), but other items, especially the movies, and games, were freaking insane. There were atleast 4 fights while we were there. People be crazy

That's absolutely insane. The crowd is bad enough... and the reason I don't do the Black Friday thing... but for some dumb bitch to think she can spray her way through innocent shoppers to get an X-Box is beyond insane. I seriously hope they catch her and charge her with assault. If someone like me had been in the way of that spray, they'd have been dead within minutes when their lungs seized up. What if someone suffered from asthma or allergic reaction? These aren't protestors facing off with cops and understanding that they may feel the brunt of non-lethal weapons if they refuse to obey dispursement orders.

Seriously, this woman should spend Xmas in jail.

How about "Blow your way to the front"? I think that selfish "me above all others" **** would quickly cease.

BJ for $100 off for Xbox, less taxes? Ethics and morals suddenly kick in, no?

What is disgusting? On various messageboards I visit people are making jokes and acting as if this is funny. I want everyone that finds this funny to be sprayed with pepper spray and see if they are still laughing.

Interesting question. Yes, I do think manners can be taught, leading to classier people. Of course it requires the desire to learn, so.......I dunno, we definitely need to do something to improve the general public decorum if this kind of stuff is going to keep happening.

Well with this last part I believe you've really come to the apex of the issue: the people.

I hereby propose a solution to the problem: mass genocide. Without people there can be no such violence, now can there? I know it's a lot to ask of the common, underprivileged, underclass, incapable, poor and uneducated who compose the 99% but I feel it is for the best and I am more than willing to do my part and contribute.

This right here is why I won't go into crowded places without a handgun on my person.

I suppose she decided that she wasn't going to go into a crowded place without pepper spray on her person.
