The koch brothers passed tax cuts? That should be interesting to see you prove.

Why did he exempt police unions? I can only provide my guess, if Walker has indicated why I don't recall or haven't heard. My guess is that he made the decision for public relation purposes.

Actually, if you'll recall, not all of the republican's were on board with Walker's/Fitzgerald's plan. The democrats had some bargaining power to at least get some of what they wanted and affect it in some ways.

Instead, with the blessing of the unions, they ran to Illinois. After they did that, some republicans were still willing to vote with them. However, when it became apparent that the dems were just buying time until recalls could be completed, the republicans galvanized and voted for Walker's/Fitzgeral'd plan in its entirety.

guess who the " koch bros lackey"is in the badger? Here,s a clue, he,s being recalled.
The haggardness of poverty is everywhere seen contrasted with the sleekness of wealth, the exhorted labor of some compensating for the idleness of others, wretched hovels by the side of stately colonnades, the rags of indigence blended with the ensigns of opulence; in a word, the most useless profusion in the midst of the most urgent wants.Jean-Baptiste Say

Feel free to look back through the thread.

Its always nice when you have an opinion as long as you don't cite it as fact.
It's an opiinion based on facts. Alot of the unions that recieved extensions prior to Act 10 refuse to reopen the contract and make contributions to pension/health. Even though they "supposedly agreed" to it. Instead, they are more then happy to see other teacher's laid off instead of contribute anything.

According to the states "fiscal bureau" they concluded that Wisconsin isn’t even in need of austerity measures,as a matter of fact they said that the badger could conclude the fiscal year with a surplus. Are you sure this isn't just another of your opinions?
Actually, now I know you are using the debunked talking point started by Ezra Klein and Rachel Maddow. They were in a deficit during the 2009 - 2011 fiscal period. Walker's 200 some million in tax cuts took effect in the 2011-2013 fiscal period, which was projected to be in deficit some 3.x billion dollars even prior to Walker being elected. They were not projected to be in surplus except in the fantasy of some on the left. You can look back through this thread for the specific debunking.

I'll wait for some real proof on that too. Something other then some opinion piece would be just great.

You could go to Youtube and search for "Scott Walker Koch" and you'd have your answer.

As to why Walker exempted the police union, that's pretty obvious; they supported his campaign. Again, this is all politics -- not economics.

If the gov won’t talk to the unions and he answers a blind call from whom he perceive as David Koch…yeah, that kinda looks like he’s Koch’s lackey to me.

Public sector union employees, according to some studies are compensated (wage and benefits) at higher levels then similar private sector jobs. Your opinion that they are not means much less then the studies I reviewed.
    Not for similar education levels.

Except most of them didn't support his campaign. The Milwaukee Fire and police unions supported Walker. The much larger statewide unions did not. The amount of misinformation you guys have is just awesome.

So, where was the evidence that Koch told him what to do in that call and Walker saying you got it? Imaginations can be a good thing, if used properly. Both governor candidates (dem and republican) ran on tax cuts. Koch didn't tell him to do it, despite whats going on in your head.
