I have no idea what he/she is talking about.... i'm just commenting on your comment about the GOP dying a swift death.

i'm at odds with both the Dems and the GOP... but damn... saying you hope they die a swift death is pretty damn irrational and unreasonable.
i'm good with them just allowing 3rd parties to get in the game ( fat chance of that happening with the GOP and Dems having total power)

Oh, I just assumed that's what you were talking about since you responded to that post and not the swift death one.

I believe the policies that GOP supports will be extremely damaging to this country and will pretty much prevent any chance of improving the country. I don't think there's anything irrational and unreasonable about wanting a party that would do such harm to the country to die a swift death. The terminology is a bit melodramatic I admit, but the sentiment that I don't want them in power is the same. There's nothing irrational about it.

Yeah? Demo's have had congressional control all but one of the past 6 years. They have rammed through pretty much everything they wanted, and what is the shape of the country for all of that one party control? Demo's have actually made it worse.

Yep, you're right...I think that the demo's should pack up the socialist, and progressives with them and disband, to let Libertarians, and Conservatives fix their mistakes. So glad you agree that my thought on this is not irrational to you. Seeing that we are a center/right country.

Good, so we agree that a party that is furthering destruction to our economy, dividing, and destroying to implement fundamental change has to go.

    Thanks for admitting that.

I obviously disagree with you, so yeah...

I know you were trying to be clever, but I'm already aware that what I think is destroying the country is different from what a conservative would think is destroying the country, so yeah, I agree that you should try to stop what you perceive as destroying the country. For all I know, you might be right. But I don't think you are and I'll vote accordingly. I expect you'll do the same.

Always hear the libs crying about the type of language used. Always seeing the libs going extreme unapologetically.
New tone for thee and not for libs. Same as it ever was.

the terminology is just as unreasonable and irrational as the beliefs contained in the bolded statement.

you can dream about a Democratic party dictatorship... but I won't join you in that fantasy.

Meh, there's nothing unreasonable and irrational about that. Just as it would be unreasonable and irrational for a conservative to think that the Democratic Party is just as damaging. It's actually strange to me that you think it's irrational to believe that certain policies will harm a country. That's a pretty rational position to take, but suit yourself. Your criticism doesn't have much of an effect on me.

I wouldn't expect you to. Although I'm not sure I'd enjoy a Democratic Party dictatorship either.

I think that this is doomed to failure - even at the height of the "outrage" with tons of money pouring in from all over the country the public union movement was unable to unseat a supreme court judge and then unable to get back the senate.

however, Wisconsin is a swing state. So, that being said, I wholeheartedly support the left wing pouring their local money and resources into a doomed recall movement, rather than the presidential campaign, and i especially support the Obama campaign trying to push back and tamp down that effort to cause the same groups to focus on his reelection - thus skylining and deepening any strife within the movement, generally wasting resources and demoralizing the base. it'll make the ice cream sunday i'm looking forward to the day after the election all the sweeter.
