Fidel Castro calls NATO “brutal” for Libya role

Have you heard about putting the Castro brothers on trial at the Hague tribunal for executing thousands without trial? The Left hunted Pinochet restlessness for crimes against humanity, but look the other way and remain silent with regards to the much worst crimes against humanity of the Castros’ regime. At least Chile has an economy to show for it, which the Castroit regime hasn’t.

Fidel Castro has never expressed regret for his regime execution of thousands of Batista government's members, nor political opponents. Raul Castro in 1959 ordered at least 72 men executed without trial. The men were lined up in front of ditches they were forced to ditch and shot, and their bodies fell into the ditch. After the massacre was over, a bulldozer covered the mass grave with dirt. Fidel and Raul shall be very afraid. Look like it is open season for hunting down dictators. Live by the sword, die by the sword.

A revolution in Cuba could happen, and it would not be a "mideast style crapstorm". There is no reason to believe that Cuba is the mid east or a crapstorm. First, it's not a fight between various religious fanatics and second it is not a big enough country to be a crapstorm. Do they even have an airforce? It's a small island without any capacity to destabilize the region around it (the Atlantic Ocean). It has no oil or anything else vital to world interest. I figure the only thing preventing it is an agreement (via the missile crisis) between the US and Castro that he not be actively overthrown. Castro's tyranny is coming to a close, one way or another. Communism has been soundly defeated and dictatorial socialism is waning.

No Castro, No problem.

Gaddafi received similar treatment that Benito Mussolini and Nicolae Ceausescu. It is time for Fidel and Raul Castro to meet the same fate that came to those dictators.

Let-wingers are always saying bad stuff about dictators like Pinochet, but at least Pinochet had the balls to call on a referendum and respect the results by stepping down. Castro was never even brave enough to propose such thing.

Gaddafi had the option to step down. This option would have certainly spared lots of Libyan blood, but that he did not. If he really care about his people, he could have stepped down and avoid a civil war. He could have spared the lives of thousands of Libyans, both supporting and opposing his regime. He could have accepted the amnesty and continued politically on the background until he could prove through a referendum that the people were really supporting him as he claimed. Instead, he chose to put his people through a civil war, just so he could hang on to power.

Because Pinochet stepped down, his supporters are still strong in Chile. After all, the parties that supported him and their successors are currently in power.

Castro was right. It was brutal. We let a mob become judge, jury and executor (with a knife up the rectum).
