Those silly WikiLeakers and their antiquated journalistic integrity. They got what they deserved. Don't they know that information is only supposed to be released to the public for the purpose of creating a narrative and influencing people's opinions? Empowering people by letting them know what's really going on and ensuring that governments are actually responsible to the governed... what kind of pinko commie nonsense is that? Putting the shady dealings of corporations into the light, shaking people's absolute faith in these benevolent institutions that only care about our well-being and prosperity and it's only a coincidence how this affects their bottom line... Disgraceful. This is an important step in making sure that power and control stays right where it belongs, in the hands of the very very few. Another victory for democracy*!
*Democracy should not be taken as an assurance that any person who does not have multiple million dollars to influence elections, lobby for preferential treatment under the law, or straight up write their own regulations, will have any say in their own politics. You are un-American and probably a terrorist for reading this fine print.
