LOL, geez you guys can twist yourselves into knots. It's comical.
Saddam was an enemy of the enemy, he was a force that kept Iran a bay. That's why the Reagan administration supported Saddam.

Really? Is this all you've got? Do you even comprehend how the world works?

FYI....we buddied up with Stalin at one time, too. Your boy, Obama, is pretty tight with Pakistan, the biggest creator of terrorists on the planet. Bush did, too, because that's the way it works.

Now Mubarak and Khaddafi are gone. They are NOTHING compared to the monsters about to take their place.

    Obama is tight with Pakistan...

Was that before or after he violated their sovereignty by launching a strike in the middle of their country to kill Bin Laden.

Erod, almost every single attack you make on the president sounds so contrived and desperate you've never been worth taking seriously... well ever.

Amazing that y'all are so eaten up with hatred for Obama that you can't even appreciate the deposing of muderous dictators. If Bush had pulled this off you'd be swinging from the chandeliers.

No, there aren't any real democracies in the ME. Why? Because ME countries have by and large been controlled by murderous dictators. Step one towards advancement, then, is getting rid of the dictators. Does'nt guarantee that they will become modern democracies, but it's a step in the right direction.
"The necessaries of life occasion the great expense of the poor. They find it difficult to get food, and the greater part of their little revenue is spent in getting it. The luxuries and vanities of life occasion the principal expense of the rich, and a magnificent house embellishes and sets off to the best advantage all the other luxuries and vanities which they possess. ... It is not very unreasonable that the rich should contribute to the public expense, not only in proportion to their revenue, but something more than in that proportion."

I was reserved for a little while because I didn't know if these were rumors - or having been confirmed - or what.

But obviously he's dead and I'm glad he's dead at the hands of the people rather than the end of a military gun - seems fitting to me.

It has happened before, but there is nothing to compare it to now.
