    "Stop backroom contracts."
    "Stop watering down my money"
"Get the CIA off of wallstreet big wig bench"
"Yay for socialism!" (a very small percent. Usually dumb kids that are parroting stuff they probably heard from a teacher or something)

    Cheer squad for this thread:
"AHAHAHA THE STUPID liberal hippy Communists want to steal from the businiess type American and now they are being stolen from... AHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAH!! BWAHAHAAH!!! BAHAAHWHWHAHAH TRORLROLOLOLLLOLOLOLOlllllolo!!!Lol1ol."
It wasn't until fairly recently that I found their MO somewhere out on the internets. Not for nothing, they weren't exactly broadcasting a very coherent, cohesive message about their purpose or their end goals. So don't pick fun of some of the conservatives or others, even non partisans like myself, for not having a clear idea about it. You wanna point your finger at someone, point it at the OWS folks, or more importantly, at the media for misrepresenting them. Not my fault I am acting on the information I have on hand. Change the information I have on hand.

We gave them money at basically zero percent interest, paid them interest on that money. We are not going to get that money back.

If you can decide what is 'too much', why can't others decide what's enough?

The fact is that we should improve our situations largely on our own. That's what successful people do. If you spend your days in the basement watching TV or the computer then you'll probably be less successful than most others. But you can't emerge from your basement occasionally to protest that life isn't fair because of your own laziness or lack of learning.

Life is more likely to be fair if you put in some effort.

Actually, banks are TRYING to pay it back, but Obama refuse to accept it, because while they have that money, he retains some level of control over them. Think of the bailout not so much as us protecting them from failure, but as our government buying 51% controlling share for a temporary period.

TARP was only a cog in the wheel. We are still to this day bailing banks out. Just like with GM much of this was paid back with money from other government programs such as I noted.....giving them money for free and then paying them interest on that money.

They are under no obligation to pay back the interest we paid them on the money we gave them.
