Gallup: Americans Blame Government More than Wall Street for Bad Economy.

Poll: Washington to blame more than Wall Street for economy
    USA Today

Most Americans blame Wall Street for the nation's economic predicament — but they blame Washington more.

•When asked whom they blame more for the poor economy, 64% of Americans name the federal government and 30% say big financial institutions.

30% is pretty much your given liberal Democrat base. The OWS folks will just have to stomp the American flag with greater effort, litter the streets with higher mounds of trash, crap bigger in the gutters, and block more traffic, until the rest of us see it as they do.

When the Welfare/Warfare states (which is a creation of government) are allowed to thrive the people's money suffers
Jackboots always come in matched pairs, a left boot and a right boot.

The economy which is still the lagging detriment of 2008 was caused by a combination of Wall Street and Congress. Anyone who can't see that is as blind as a bat.

As for your rhetoric, I can only take away one thing from it.

"Well the OWS can protest, but I'll only approve of it if it's against Obama."

And we would agree that many are blind as a bat.

Your last line is pretty ignorant though. The OWS folks are not protesting politicians to any degree. In fact, I think you will find that they support bigger government so as to better enable redistribution. You would be correct had you said something closer to my being opposed to class warfare fomented by a major political party, to now include the finges of lawlessness.

You wouldn't know class warfare if it came up and bit you in the ass, and neither would these OWS folks.

People are upset, and some people naturally are going to direct their anger at one of the institutions that caused alot of the problems they're in. If you knew what Congress and Wall Street actually did, and knowingly did to defraud the public, gambling peoples 401k's on bad deals and they knew it, you'd wanna hang every CEO and Congressmen who allowed it to happen and want to allow to happen in the future.

Fortunately for them the truth has become so twisted by partisan politics it seems the financial crisis is now the fault of Teachers and Unionized construction workers

Well, you will just have to kiss my ass then. Most of these Wall Street folks did not lose 401K's. In fact, almost all 401K's have recovered since the crash.

If you want to disagree, then have at it. But if all you can do is continue with the idiot insults, then you can shove that as well.

IMO Wall Street is the dog and D.C. is the dog's owner. The dog is generally well natured. It on occassion will get aggressive but most times it is just a dog. One day the owner lets it out without supervision and it attacks the little kid next door. Whose fault is that?

That said, I've not seen OWS make statements that none of this is the fault of D.C. They are actually protesting in front of the White House. I saw some coverage of what is likely the closest protest to me in Charleston WV. The sign that caught my eye had a ballot on it. Republican, Democrat, Other with the other checked.

I mentioned this before but this is where those who do understand that the problem is the incestous relationship between Wall Street and D.C. are failing. The Tea Party and OWS need to come together where they agree and agree to put their differences aside until they are able to accomplish something where they agree.

nice analogy, but i think it's the other way around......wall street is the owner. or are they siblings?
