    It is very bad news because the US already tried to create a coup against Chavez in 2002 (12. Bush Administration Behind Failed Military Coup in Venezuela | Project Censored). The US has wanted to get Chavez for a while because he won't subjugate himself to US corporate/foreign policy interests.

    Its good news, that the Venezuelan people might have chance to regain some of its lost liberties under Chavez. Assuming that Chavez and his boys dont have a back up plan with this scenario.

    They can do that already if they so choose by holding a recall referendum
