The NFL’s decision to pick Arizona this week to host the Super Bowl in 2015 has outraged some Hispanic activists who had organized a boycott of the state after a controversial immigration law passed last year.“In light of Arizona’s hate-based legislation, the action taken by the NFL serves as an endorsement of the state’s abhorrent actions against the Latino and migrant communities,” said Margaret Moran, national president of the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), the largest Hispanic civil rights group in the country.

Hispanic Activist need to go stick their heads into large piles of donkey ****. That'd be at least USEFUL.

Those pro-illegal immigration activists should go **** themselves and not politicize the Super Bowl just because Arizona got some common sense and enacted anti-ILLEGAL immigrations laws

I would like to see those who are protesting have immigration status, are they here legally, or do we need to deport their asses.

I have a few words for these Mexicans directly.

Cierra tu boca maldita y sentarse. They'll know what it means. If they can read.

You know it really says a lot about your maturity when you all talk like this. This is not mature debate or discussion, its really a turn off to someone like myself who may want to agree with you gentlemen, now I'm just going to slip away because who wants to be associated with that kind of childishness. So please, control your emotions and stop acting like an angry child throwing a temper tantrum, its not that big of a deal.

Hyperbole as a reply to hyperbole really isn't a big deal. As the article notes, nobody after careful consideration is upset that states are starting to demand that the laws of our country be upheld.

Well if they truly believe in their heritage then perhaps the Hispanic community will quit using a term to describe their heritage that was coined by Nixon.

So it's perfectly okay with you that we are over run with close to 20 million ( real numbers) illegal Mexicans that are a drain on society, vote in our elections thanks to Groups like ACORN and dumb-ass voter registration laws as we have here in California, and their supporters want punish the State of Arizona for wanting the laws enforced.

You can attack us all day long and it won't change the truth. That being everyone of these illegal s needs to exposed and lose their jobs and maybe, just maybe they'll go back to Mexico and make changes there to reform their corrupt systems and stop trying to turn the USA into Mexico DAMN IT!

It continues to amaze me that anyone quotes anything they hear or see on television as factual. Beyond that there are those who buy further into the dumbassery of infotainment and respond to what they hear on Fox News as if it were somehow about the fray, a trusted source. It ****ing blows my mind.

It is non-news in Phoenix. Read the source "outraged some Hispanic activists". How many is some? Maybe where some of you live some is a specific number. In Phoenix it ain't many at all in this instance. The Fox News report isn't even an info fart in the Phoenix paper, the Arizona Republic. The story that Fox ran representing "outrage" was taken from Hispanically Speaking News, which reported it much differently: "LULAC [League of United Latin American Citizens] was dismayed to hear today that the National Football League has chosen the State of Arizona to host the 49th Super Bowl." Fox took what in Phoenix is not worthy of news, used the weasel word "some" referring to activists and attempted to throw gasoline on it by changing "dismay" to "outrage".

Mr. Vicchio and friends have been chumped by television "news" and buggered by Fox News. You are reaching Mr. Vicchio to find a place to project that racial hatred and you ****ed it up.

I think a lot of people have given up on FOX news along with all the other news outlets. All of this has only become Fox against them and them against FOX, and the news is left behind.

Wiseone:
I live in AZ. prior to that NM.
There are many of us who are sick and tired of speach like, "“In light of Arizona’s hate-based legislation,(quote from OP link).
Groups that support illegal aliens play the race card way to often. Rarely do these groups acknowledge that those who entered the US illegal have done anything wrong. If anyone is throwing "hate based" its these illegal alien support groups.
I am glad the NFL has looked beyond the politics.

Indeed. And Keith Olberman is no better. I'm not pointing fingers in one direction. It's television "news" period. There is little pure truth report by any network. I don't react to anything that comes from TV.

Nixon was around in the 16th century???
I speak of the term Hispanic and this term only which was coined by Nixon and prior to Nixon coining this term, the term Hispanic did not exist officially..

The word Hispanic has been in use in the English language since the 16th century...

I agree and it is what i have observed. It now takes the media, radio, internet, news print and other opinions all bunched up into one to get our political news today.

You all are mistaking my call for maturity to be political, frankly I can't see why. I'm from Arizona as well, and happen to support the harsher immigration law even going so far to say that although the matter of immigration is a Federal issue, the states have taken it upon themselves to address an issue the Federal government isn't addressing.

I have more in common regarding immigration policy to you individuals than others, although I hate to admit it because many of you seem to be motivated or at least argue with hate and immature verbage. That's all this is about, there's no need to become angry and derogatory it doesn't accomplish anything and pushes people away. That's the only point I'm trying to make, I'm not pushing any kind of policy or policy change. And a call for maturity and restraint will never be hyperbole

Wait, did you just call me a racist? LOL. You are so damned far off the mark it's not even funny. There isn't a racist bone in my body kiddo. I don' give a flying **** what color your skin is, where your family hails from, what accent you carry. That matters not ONE IOTA in my book. Who you are as a PERSON, and what YOU DO with yourself. Matters.

Some freak activist trying to raise a stink over the NFL awarding Az the 2015 Super Bowl because they don't like the fact the state took ENFORCING OUR LAWS seriously, can go **** themselves. If that's racist in your book, so be it. I call it being cowered by the PC crowd, I have balls and don't play around with the "have to say your sorry crowd". It appears you do.

Oh, did I hurt your wittle feewings?

I was expressing the same level of stupid outrage these twits are to make a point about them. It's okay to do that from time to time Wiseone. Now, you may not be able to bring yourself to understand that, or to do that yourself, but realize this; It's okay to show emotion and still be rationale.

I'm sorry I thought I was talking to adults, apparently I'm still on the playground.

Oh don't start that crap. "I'm so offended you used such harsh language! That's just petty on your part.

You are the one that got all huffy cause I was "harsh" in the OP. Wake up, smell the coffee.

Until those like the person quoted in the article are willing to honestly discuss this subject there is no possibility for a mature discussion.

Calling laws they disagree with as hate based legislation or anti-immigrant legislation, referring to anyone against illegal immigration as a racist or anti-immigrant and trying to whine over a state being awarded the a Super Bowl is mature?
