Or how you see society, economics, all of that good stuff. And brother man I think your the only one with the "ego". And yes I have contributed what I see as fact earlier in the thread. I never said you had to. But if you expect anyone to believe you, you really should. And I believe you when you say you believe it's a fact. that's why I don't want you to use the word until you know what it means.

Mr Dragon, I'll use any word I want to. Also, you don't have to explain to me anything. If anyone needs explaining to its you. Your the one claiming I haven't contributed when I had. You claim I have a ego but your the one with the ego. And to get on topic about the government! That bull **** you pulled up about earlier that we will be working for 2 cents an hour. The only way that would be possible if the value of a dollar goes up. You do know that the value dollar rises and decline right? The two cents back then even though it wasn't worth much. Is more than you think it was. And also the only way it would happen if people get stupid. The only time a corporation can get that much power is if you let it. And obviously people america aren't going to let it. But we shouldn't put outlandish and business hurting regulations on corporations. That hurts more than it helps.
Also that one percent isn't to blame for our current mess. And tell me. Why should the 1% pay for the government and the banks problem? They shouldn't. Why should anyone be forced to clean up a mess that they didn't make. Now if they got payed for it that would be a whole different thing. But to tell the rich that they have to clean up the mess every time the government makes a mistake is ridiculous. I'm sorry if you disagree. But those protesters aren't mad at the right group of people. They should be mad at the banks and the government.

And yes, it would only happen if "people get stupid" and say, voted to keep the government from restricting corporate power. That's kinda what your party is trying to do. And if the 1% isn't going to pay for it, who is? the rest of us 99% can barely afford our houses. And cleaning up a mess you didn't make? kinda like the Iraq war?

Funny you should say that. Those are the real numbers, give or take like half a percent.
Once again, I failed at being clear. My bad. My point is that we send people into wars whether they like it or not. And people have to pay taxes whether they like it or not.
Also, you have yet to answer this:
If the top 1% isn't gonna do their share of the taxes, who is?

If no one can afford the products being made, or the services being offered, those people don't make any money. Products and services will be affordable, in the event that wages go to .42 cents an hour, because it will cost a LOT less to make, but also because if not, people won't be able to afford them, and they won't sell, and they won't make money.
 
Come hell or high water...this country has over 300 million people living in it. On ONE currency, in ONE unified economy. Sure, prices change from state to state, as do wage averages, but it's not dramatic, like it would be from one country to another. That's our world wide economic advantage. Any producer of any good or service is NOT going to take that lightly.

Mr Dragon, Our military is voluntary if they don't want to go to war then don't join. People have to pay taxes like it or not... no **** Sherlock. Well actually they can refuse to but they go to jail. And I think the 1% should pay THEIR fair share of the taxes not everybody else's and the 1% has been paying their taxes except the ones who dodge it. And yet again your numbers are wrong do some research.

*And I know we have a draft but no ones going to get drafted anytime soon.

You're not going to get help. The government owes $15 trillion and getting deeper in debt every day. The country s broke. There is nothing anyone can do. And you are attacking the only people who can help you.

You want it the way it was, when just being an American made you special, when you had every opportunity to get a trade, an education, and to raise a family without any real fear of tomorrow. Those days are gone now, and there is nothing you can do to bring them back.

You have squandered your future and that of your descendants on overseas entanglements, self indulgent drugs, abortions, food stamps, junk food, electronic gadgets, two years of unemployment benefits,and now demand everything else be 'free' because you have reached the point where you don't even have the education and understanding, as Americans once did, that nothing is 'free'. Now you will turn on each other to try and keep things as they are until things get better but it will never get better. It will only get worse. And more violent. Those poor dumb bastards inarticulately wanting something, anything, are just an indication of more to come.

You are headed for third world status and are completely unprepared. You're helpless. Others can only watch in horror as, after over 235 years as an example of hope and freedom to the world, the United States has begun to completely unravel.

Everyone is clamoring for tax payers dollars. The OWS are doing the same thing with their list of demands.

The only protest group who ever wanted the government to do LESS is the Tea Party, and they were sidelined rather quickly by media hostility, charges of 'racism', and so on. Perhaps the American people deserve more of Obama, but I don't readily see why.
