Obama isn't going to investigate anything, because he, along with many other politicians would end up going to jail, before anyone else.

The Libbos wanted everyone to own a house. You wanted poor people to make 6 figure loans, because that was, "fair". Well, you got exactly what you asked for.

No, the justice Dept. of the late '90s forced the loans under threat of investigations. They basically would find anything they could to make a mortgage company's life hell if the bad loans weren't made. That is how the sub-prime mortgage was born. It wasn't wall-street it was government that created the housing bubble.

Where is the evidence that these 'libbo' people - and only those libbo people - wanted EVERYONE to own a house?

There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.... John Rogers

I think maybe executing people because of protest and dissent is perchance not the correct way to handle it.

But actually, I hadn't known the park was private. In which case, they can be asked to leave.

And the Libbos didn't have anything to do with that, right?

    Not really.

The park was created in a deal where the owners wanted to expand a building and the city gave them permission in exchange for providing the park space.

So it is private property, but is required to be open to the public as part of the agreement.

A gray area, no question. Definitely not a black and white private property issue.

I never said only Liberals, but there were Liberals who were neck deep in the plan: Frank, Dodd, Waters, Clinton, Lee, the list goes on.

It doesn't really matter which political party was involved the most. What matters is that we stop trying to insist that it was, "all Wall Street's fault".

People can still be asked to leave for abuse in that situation. Squatting, littering, and other abusive activities including remaining after forbidden all qualify.

But, it's still private property. If the owners want to protect their property by cleaning up the trash, they are well within their rights to order the entertainers to leave.
