Trust me. I do. There is enough blame to go around. If Obama had the balls, then he would be investigating and going after these crooks since day one. Unfortunately, he rather act like a petulant child and only brings investigation when S&P downgraded the US credit under his watch.

These demonstrators don't know how lucky they are that Brookfield Properties does not demand they vacate. I respect their right to protest...admire their convictions...but, if they break the law, off with their heads!
    Its a weird ownership situation.

Brookfield owns the dirt, but were required to provide it as public space in exchange for allowing brookfield to build an addition on an adjacent property.

This creates and odd situation as pertaining to protests, because it is public space by the definition of the agreement.

The key phrase that has the protesters concerned is the complying with the rules of Brookfield, which I'm sure bans sleeping/erection of tents.

If they leave, they will NOT be allowed to continue as they have been.

They will NOT be allowed to re-erect tents, etc.

    Mark my words.

There will be no offer to allow the protesters to do the cleaning.

Nor to clear an area at a time.

Wall Street paid them to rate them that way.

Just hose down the flea baggers when they start the cleaning process. It might be the first shower they've had in days.

What is he going to investigate? The government was fine with it all. They were ALL involved in it. Wall Street, the rating agencies, D.C., all of them.

as far as I know, ONLY the NYC Sheriff's office or NYC Marshall can evict an illegal tenant.

and this is only done after a court order is issued.

tenants of apartments who refuse to pay rent get about 6-months of rent-free habitation.

so, Bloomberg and the NYPD might be breaking the law if they attempt to forcibly remove the OWS protestors without a court-order and without the leadership of the NYC Marshall or NYC Sheriff's Dept.
