Ron Paul: US-born al-Qaida cleric 'assassinated'

The fact that the President can order an execution order without charging someone is UNPRECEDENTED. Why you are asking for a previous case is beyond me. Perhaps you need to look up the word "unprecedented".
My point is made.

Perhaps you should know/understand case law before relying on it.

You point is not made and your superficial arrogance is duly noticed.

It doesn't take much to indict someone, even if you don't have to serve them papers.

What was Al-Awlaki charged with?

Even Ron Paul says the death of Al-Awlaki is a net benefit.

Your point is? Or are you misrepresenting Paul's and my stance?

How can you kill someone without ever bringing an indictment against them?

That is called savagery.

It's called a Predator drone. (strictly speaking, an MQ-9 Reaper) I wonder where they came up with those names, something to do with its function?

Nope..I was giving my opinion on the outcome which made me happy....Ron Paul is a lesson in contradictions...I dont pay any attention to him..

Those drones are a lifesavers...technology at its best...prior to drones we had to risk special ops for these tasks...or not accomplish them at all.

Where is the contradiction?

Lifesavers?

Our current foreign policy is a practice in annihilating life, not persevering it. Seriously, what kind of sick **** are you?

No, really? War-machines are meant to take lives? No way!

I really hate this type of talk also BUT it's actually how officials must address those accused of things until found guilty. Unfortunately, Loughner is still an alleged shooter.

His videos clearly shows how they at least have an influence on inspiring terrorists.
I can't believe how people can be so blind and defensive about terrorists. Even if he didn't kill with his hands, his videos (and he was thought to be second in command after OBL, and when OBL was kiilled, was in control of Al Qaeda briefly before he was also killed) clearly shows how he had a part in terrorism

Better radical, brainwashed terrorists than US citizens.
Seriously, what country are you from?

So you ARE in favor of charging the president with murder...right?

You are a daisy because you actually believe charging homey with a crime was relevant to anything. I just REALLY REALLY want you and people like you to go out there and talk to those terrorists. Serve them with warrants. Give them a big ol hug. Save the world.

Obama was like you while he could afford to be. He actually had to grow up and realize you kill/eradicate terrorists wherever and however you can.

do you really want to run with the idea that people who are opposed to the way this all went down are hippy sissies or somesuch?

I come from a country that believes in the rule law and does not think that everyone who practices Islam is an enemy.

well, i can't speak for others, but i'm not defending this guy or his actions... i'm more of the mind that i'm defending all of our basic constitutional rights as American citizens.

as i have stated before, his demise is welcome...but the legal mechanism in which he was targeted for assassination is not.

I know, but as a civilized people we don't commit more savagery.

Your point is?

It is that "killing someone without ever bringing an indictment against him" is a regular occurrence during war, and the situation between the US and militant Islam is certainly that of a war.

yawn....no.

Anything else?

Plus your ideas that Islam hates us for our freedom is ridiculous. I grow old of this ****.

Not directed at me, but we do not have the right to kill someone without bringing charges against them.

In my America, I believe in the presumption of innocence. Unfortunately, many people are eager to flip this basic principle of liberty on its head.
And this is why you fail. You view terrorism as a matter of criminality. In fact it is a matter of war. You have flipped the truth on its head. One is not apprehended and given a trial in war. One is found, fixed and fu**e...uh, destroyed.

I view terrorism as an act of empathy.

Chew on that.

I am not a dickhead like Albright.

This tells me you are either unprincipled, unlearned, unknowing, unseeing, or just unbelievably stupid. I cannot really tell which.
