You should watch The 7 Samurai. Noble samuri defend a town from mercs. The price for their defense? A few meals of rice. The honorable win at the cost of a few samurai lives. The town ends up being the only one truly being victorious in the end. But the Samurai have their honor and did the right thing.

Trails and such are sort of an Old World Order thing. Get with the New World. Executions by the hands of the US Militairy is "in" this year.

The justification for the extrajudicial assassination of US citizens by their own government is irrelevant. If you want to support the dismantling of the US justice system for arbitrary martial law then go for it, but don't try to hide your obvious anti-freedom views.

and this is where your views become totally irrelevant.

Yes. The answer is yes. Even though assassinations are illegal (Executive Order 12333 - United States Intelligence Activities), President Bush still authorized them (U.S. military teams, intelligence deeply involved in aiding Yemen on strikes) and Obama continues it. This worries me as the US government's definition for terrorism can be quite vague (Rounding Up U.S. Citizens Counterpunch: Tells the Facts, Names the Names), even going so far as to be peaceful protesters (http://www.aclu.org/pdfs/tmcterrorismmemo.pdf).

The target was not under US jurisdiction, nor was there any "martial law", arbitrary or otherwise. He was a designated military target.

Far better examples of government over-step would be Ruby Ridge and Waco, where I assume you concur.
