Wednesday's raid is the latest carried out by federal authorities on several of Governor Scott Walker's top staffers, all state employees who recently resigned.

Even though the search warrant was executed on a home in the state capital of Madison, they were Milwaukee FBI agents. It appears that the federal investigation concerns Governor Walker's time as Milwaukee county executive.

Ahh, yes, Walker was going to bring honesty back to Wisconsin politics. You know, I knew something like this might happen. Why? Because Walker is just another politician, and Republican or Democrat, they are ALL scum bags. When are Republicans and Democrats going to wake up and realize that they've been had?

I don't hold much hope for that in the short term. I think people have gotten too caught up in the partisan polarization to take honest stock of the current position of government and the main parties. We don't pay enough attention to the system and instead go off of sound bites, preconceived notions, and finger pointing. Duped by designing men, just as Webster said.

some of us are well aware of politician's failings. some pols are just much worse than others, i think. it's sad that today the peeple we elect to represent us are more interested in the power and money politics can bring them.

I want you to know that not all politicians are not scumbags. There are some of us who served the public with our

integrity tact.

It is easy to paint all politicians with the same broad brush, however there are some who take the position reluctantly but for the right reasons.

A few of us are able to ignore the shame that some bring upon themselves when they have lost their way.

I know a few politicians who have lived up to their "Oath of Office," I count myself among them.

If they find him to be guilty of a crime...hang him,

Great idea. Its a twofer, population control and crime control.

Caught speeding or runnig a red light, officer just shoots the bastard. Shoplifting, cut off both hands before executing.

This is shaping up as a very major news story. Thank you for bringing it to our attention Dan.

From what I hear, it's just an investigation into some employees of Walkers that alledgedly used work computers to blog or send emails in support of Walker.

Yeah.. I'm sure that just makes Walker, who may or may not have even known, pure scum.

This is pure Allinsky. It should be dismissed with an apology instead angry libs will go after, and try and destroy anyone that bucks their ideology.

Amazing isn't it, liberals lose elections and then try to overturn the results with Alinsky tactics. It really is a shame to see some very good people taken in by the liberal cult today and that is going to make things a lot worse in the future. Results in Wisconsin are turning around due to Walker's actions but good results in Wisconsin are ignored by people with an agenda. We are only hearing one side of the story, the side that the left wants out. As usual when the real results get out they will be ignored as the liberals will be off on some other topic.

Politicians are scumbags, but I saw nothing in the article indicting Walker, except the perihperal association with his aide/aides. It'll be interesting to watch down the road. Should fester around election time.

Rather interesting how liberals are quick to point to perceived indescretions on the part of a Republican but ignore the proven allegations against Democrats. Solyndra is a disaster for Obama and the taxpayers and there are four other companies that Obama gave stimulus money to that have failed. then there is this

General Reported He Was Pressured On Testimony About White House-Backed Project, Sources Say | Fox News

The more we hear about this Administration the less we hear from the Obama supporters but they have no problem going after alleged allegations against a Republican?

It is quite telling that you have already drawn all these conclusions from an episode which is just in the investigatory stage.

Who brought this investigation, and whom are they aligned with politically? My guess is that whom ever it is will be found to have ties to public sector unions.

What is amazing reporting reality? Liberals haven't already convicted Walker?

isn't this thread about walker? and isn't the fbi now involved? and what does alleged allegations mean? enquiring minds want to know.

1 - so what?
2- instead of guessing, present your facts

Of course it is. But what Conservative is attempting to do is simply follow the right wing playbook when this sort of this comes up. Somebody mentions the Koch bros. and the knee jerk reaction from the right is to mention George Soros. That is as sure as night following day. That sort of thing is what is happening here with this topic. Conservative is just trying to deflect from the actual topic.

Proven? Care to show how they are proven when all this is still in the investigation stage?

As for some people on the left jumping to conclusions about Walker you are correct that it is wrong, when it is just being investigated. However it is just as wrong for people on the right to jump to occlusions about the Solyndra loan when it is still being investigated.

So Solyndra didn't happen? 500 million taxpayer dollars didn't go to one of the largest campaign donors of Obama? What does it take to prove something to a liberal?

So Walker hasn't been convicted in the liberal mind? This is about double standards and that is what I am pointing out.

I never said the loan didn't happen, but you and others on the right are jumping to conclusions that there was illegal or wrongdoing by Obama directly. It is still being investigated so yes, you are wrong for jumping to those conclusions.

Oh? Hmmm...interesting. I'd always thought your handle was just a catchy moniker like all the rest. Curious, since you put yourself out there I wonder what position do you serve in public office and where? It's only fitting to see if your track record measures up to your proclaimed level of trustworthiness and fidelity to honor and commitment to your constiuences. Mind you, I've also considered running for public office because I'm so fed up with dishonesty in politics, but it's getting too difficult for the average American to get into the public arena w/o deep financial support.

That said, would you be willing to put your political track record on public display?

(BTW, I applaud your willingness to serve.)

no, this thread is about scott walker. why won't you discuss him?
