There has been some second thoughts, at least according to what i've heard on WI radio. Democrats are trying to determine the viability of recalling Walker. It's a very expensive task (time and money), and they aren't sure they'll have the enthusiasm (because of their "great victory") or the money to undertake it. I can't tell you either way, just providing what has been stated by those in the know.

Democrats caused the state to spend far more then the republicans did. Security, overtime and clean up due to the protests, costs associated with a recount democrats couldn't hope to win (Kloppenburg) and unecessary recall elections because they decided they didn't like the results of the last election. May as well add on the costs required by the union for providing overpriced health insurance through WEAC. Do you really want to compare the costs foisted upon the WI public by the democrats to those of the republicans?

There were 9 recall elections, before the election the Republicans held a 19-14 majority, after the recall it was 17-16 so where do you get the 4 out of 6 recall elections won by Democrats.

Because the dems won 2 recall races to keep their seats.

One was because the republican that had the best chance to win, was an idiot and didn't submit enough signatures. The guy that did submit enough signatures, had some kind of police record. The other I actually thought republicans had a chance to win.

"The Journal Sentinel reported that people familiar with the county investigation who spoke on condition of anonymity said the investigation focuses on the activities of Archer and Tom Nardelli, Walker's former county chief of staff. Both worked three years in Walker's county executive office then followed him to Madison after the November election.

Nardelli quit his state job in July and did not return messages seeking comment Friday. Archer served as deputy Department of Administration Secretary until she quit Aug. 19 and started the Children and Family Services job on Aug. 20 before going on paid medical leave.

I hear you however how is that winning 4 out of 6 races when there were 8 races. They won the two Democrat seats on the 16th and won 2 of the 6 Republican seats on the 9th which means they won 4 out of 8, not four out of 6. What am I missing

Actually, using Bauer's measurenments, it looks like Dems won 5 and Reps won 4. So, dems won 5 of 9. Regardless, rep maintained control of all branches of government and WI is all the better for it.

You are correct, I don't know where the 4 of 6 came from. The Democrats held their three seats and captured two seats from the Republicans.

Because the unions represent thousands while the Koch Bros represent two

This is either a naive answer or an outright lie. I will let folks make up their own mind.
