Not made at this time(documented earlier this thread). There are multiple plans with multiple troop levels made, but nothing will be decided until Iraq makes it's request.

I'm talking about the politics of Iraq, not the US. The longer the military stays the more tenuous the political situation becomes, and the more radicalizes the populous becomes, the more endangered the local populous becomes and the US troops and the more troops are needed to "keep/make the peace"

And, you're basing this on, what?

An in depth knowledge of the history of foreign occupation/history? I know its my job to support my arguments, but seriously I'm not going to give history lessons.

Well, I'll give you a history lesson and point out that insurgent activity has gone down, steadily for some time now, in Iraq. Based n that fact, withdrawing troops too soon--per the commanders on the ground--will have a negative effect on the environment in Iraq.

But, I reckon you know more about what's going on the ground in Iraq, than the actual commanders in country do and surely, your opinion isn't grounded--no pun intended--in your politics.

Insurgency has gone down because the political situation in Iraq has largely stabilized, our initial troop draw down, and because Al-Sdar believes that the US is leaving soon. If we over stay, blood will flow.

its not my politics that matters, Its Iraq's.

The people actually in the country are telling a different story.

The people in the country haven't decided how many troops they want to stay yet. The situation is fluid, if we over stay Al-Sadar's troops, with or without his direction, will start attacking Americans and the Iraqi government again enhancing sectarian tensions with Sunnis as well.

Part of the reason why insurgency was so strong in Iraq was because the military and those in charge of politics (the Americans given full control over areas) ignore the history and politics of Iraq and de-Bathized Iraq, alienating many Sunnis.
