Hoffa Threatens GOP At Obama Event: "Take These Son Of Bitches Out"

The video is funny, though. He thinks he's energizing the crowd - but everyone behind him looks like they don't give a **** about what he's saying. Completely uninvolved and unmoved. (not in the OP video via link - a different one where you can't see the audience in the front)

All that drama for nothing.
Maybe that wingnut Hoffa should be out looking for the murderers of his father.

So far I have heard not one hateful or racist word coming from the Tea Party, and I hear nothing but from Liberals.

They use hateful threatening terms, and we hear them almost every day.

I believe the reason is they are trying to draw attention away from Obama's endless list of failures.

Then there's this fun fellow:

"...and all the nigra race pimps out there. On behalf of the tea party, we are sick and tired of being called racist."

The next sentence! I mean JESUS CHRIST.

You've never heard one hateful or racist thing from your side but you've never heard anything from the other side that wasn't hateful or racist?

Sorry but the only explanation is willful ignorance or that you live in some parallel universe where there aren't douche bags on both sides. As soon as I hear someone make a claim similar to yours (IE: My side is always _______ and your side is always ______) I can tell that this person is completely lost with no hope of recovering.

Well if he teamed up with OJ........

You are attempting to derail the thread, this thread us about what J Hoffa said
Hoffa Threatens GOP At Obama Event: "Take These Son Of Bitches Out"
This thread is more of the same distortions that the republican party tries to pass off as facts.

J Hoffa has the right attitude it's time for the middle and the poor classes to stand up and show up at the voting booth, it's time for the creators of the middle class "unions" to organize and get thier members involved in removing the tea baggers and anyone that supports them from the government of our country. It's pass time to expose lies as lies, distortions as distortions, fabrications as fabrications

And of course, you and people like you expressed the same outrage when the Giffords/Palin/crosshairs **** was going on...right?

As long as we are painting with broad brushes...

Way to go, all you democrats...

More distortions on your part and on the part of republican tea baggers you support, Hoffa did not encourage violence he encouraged people to go to the polls and vote. Do you have a problem with American citizens voting? Are you afraid that Hoffa might be able to mobilize the American middle class and poor to become activitely involved in voicing thier opinion and voting

He was responding to someone that claimed that they had never heard anything hateful or racist from a tea party member. No unbiased person would say that Deuce was trying to say that all tea partiers are like the people he showed. Next time think about something rationally before jumping to your conclusions based on your silly "us vs. them" mentality.

you know.... that's a very apt summation of the modern union movement.

Ain't that funny. Liberals bash Sarah Palin and many conservatives take that to mean that they must be really scared of how smart she is and how many followers she has etc. and then when conservatives bash unions non-stop for months it must mean that unions have no support and are really just by standers.

Pick a side conservatives, lol.

Wow just Wow!!!!

what about the right wing rhetoric, or do you conservatives really forget that easily?

"I want people in Minnesota armed and dangerous on this issue of the energy tax because we need to fight back." - Michelle Bachmann.

if i'm not mistaken, Bachmanns rhetoric is a lot more agressive than the one Hoffa used.

"oh, wait, no. not right. Because being a liberal means never being held responsible for your rhetoric."

cpwill, i'll just blame the radicalized right wing nuts next time there's a shooting.

More distortions on your part

This whole thread is a distortion. Someone said something regrettable and undefensible, but because he represents a Union, the Right gets their panties in a wad. The very same type of rhetoric from Sarah Palin ("lock and load") was brushed off as nothing.

Meanwhile the Left goes into contortions trying to defend something that shouldn't be defended.

The man said something he shouldn't have said. The idea that this reflects everybody who isn't a Republican is complete lunacy. The idea that what he said needs to be defended is complete lunacy. Hoffa is an unsavory character, so are the Kochs. Big deal, welcome to American politics.

precisely. i just find it ironic how the right can freely do as they please, and say whatever they want, but as soon as the left does, it's harshly criticized as an attempt to attack the tea party. do you really hear what your party has to say, and the incompetent undermining tone they speak to the american people? the true, working class american people?

keep voting for the nuts that hold america against it's will.

lets see so if a conservative or tea party member stands up and calls liberals SOB,s that need to be taken out …. you will be just as understanding that they are just voicing their opinion, their views of where this country needs to go correct ?

I heard the portion of Hoffa's speech which includes the comments on voting accordingly to remove Tea Party members from Congress. Immediately, I knew there would be blow-back because of the "...let's take those SOBs out" verbage.

While I don't see Hoff's words in the same category as Sarah Palin's bulls-eyes on liberal congressional districts or what have you, I do understand that his words could easily be viewed as inflammatory. Still...

Content and context means everything, folks. The media has a responsibility to report the news accurately. Purposeful editing to inflame or stir up anxiety to me is irresponsible journalism and discredits the media source. This isn't the first time FoxNews has discreditted itself in this manner. Regardless, James Hoffa, Jr could have choosen his words alittle more carefully. That said, I don't think the President nor the DNC has a responsibility to publically reprimand their guess speaker. Not only did he not say or do anything wrong, he's not a member of Congress nor the Obama Administration. He's a citizen and free to exercise his 1st Amendment rights as long his words don't incite one to violence. To that, I think when people read or hear the exact contents of his words they'll put them in their proper context.

The distortion came from the Fox News Channel who edited the video at the OP. Here is what Hoffa said:

President Obama this is your army. We are ready to march. And president Obama we want one thing: Jobs. Jobs. Jobs. Jobs. Jobs. Jobs. Jobs. Jobs. That's what we’re going to tell him. He’s going to be - and when he sees what we’re doing here he will be inspired. But he needs help and you know what? Everybody here's got to vote. If we go back and keep the eye on the prize, let's take these sons of a bitches out and give America back to America where we belong! Thank you very much!

taken out of office. i do believe his rhetoric was a little unjust, i'm not saying it's not - but to sit there an actually defend your party after one radicalized piece of rhetoric has been blurted out from the left, when your party sits there, gun in hand, blasting every liberal in this country is sickening.

 unions' increasing infirmity (they are still strong, mind you) isn't a result of conservative bashing. it is because they represent a failed and uncompetitive economic model.

so yeah, if fox news wasn't so biased, and actually played the entire clip, you would see the rhetoric isn't as bad as fox made it out to be. fox news is just something controlled by the gop, for the gop.

Well all I can say about your rant there is that it's good to see that you consider only the 12.5% of the work force that are union, the “only” true working class American people. Listen closely you other 87.5% of the work force, you are nothing, incompetent fools that deserve no voice. Well to the liberal modus speaking to you.
