Hoffa Threatens GOP At Obama Event: "Take These Son Of Bitches Out"

What I would say is that the first book was about Obama's formative years, and he was talking about coming to grips with his half-black/half-white lineage, when he had essentially no contact with his birth father. It was a coming of age stoy -- not a recitation of his current beliefs.

The second quote is, typically, taken out of context. He was saying that he would support Muslims if there was a witch hunt against them, such as we saw against Japanese Americans during WWII.

Now who's going to step up to the plate and denounce Fox? :popcorn2:

The books were written while nObama was an adult and he must of been proud to make these statements or else he would of omitted them from his books.

I would be crazy to denounce Fox News :coffeepap:

I notice you didn't answer my question, which I'll take to mean that you haven't actually read either book. You're just taking sentences out of context -- no doubt copied and pasted from a right-wing website written by someone who also didn't read the books.

In short, if you want to crticize Obama's books you should at least read them first.

I read them.

the funny thing is... neither you nor Hoffa really want war.

that is 100% right and glad to see your recognize that. Sadly, the war was brought just the same.

you'd be crazy not to denounce FOX.... they edited a clip in order to give off a different vibe than what was actually said.
( and Hoffa was an insufferable asshole to boot.)

don't wallow in partisanship and hypocrisy .. leave that to you opponents.

Sure you read them.

If you had then you would know that the first one was an autobiography. You think he should have lied about what he was thinking and doing when he was a child?

The Federal Building wasn't propoganda, but it was the second worst terrorist attack on U.S. soil. The Giffords shooting wasn't propoganda. The Austin plane crash wasn't propoganda. The facts speak for themselves.

I actually think the Giffords shooting was the result of propaganda itself. If you look back at his writing, etc., and consider it from the point of view that he became aware of the science of "persuasion" and went mad falling down that rabbit hole it makes a whole lot of sense.

Check it out. Its a better explanation than any others I've heard. MUCH better than any of the partisan ones I've heard.

let me rephrase...

there is no war, and neither you nor Hoffa do not want one.

you and Hoffa want to use terms that you are not familiar with in order to come across as strong and manly...you simply do not want war, people die in war.

we have disagreements and differing beliefs and perspectives... we debate those differences, we vote on them, we enact legislation that favors one side or another.

we do not wage war... that is irrational horsehockey.

How about Fox News' long history of accusing Obama of being a Muslim, racist, terrorist sympathizing, Kenyan? Denounce away.... :popcorn2:
The "fair and balanced" folks can't get through the day without numerous inaccuracies, distortions, falsehoods, deliberate deceptions and outright lies.

nObma and libtards will have to demean, and insult the opposition because that's all they can run on instead of accomplishments, so Mr. Hoffa Jr. set the tempo for the election and I am very glad because people are getting more pissed off than ever and is going to backfire. :coffeepap:

One was written in 2007 and the other one in 2008. He was an adult and not while he was growing up. Don't make excuses for a grown man.

Using words like n0bma and libtards makes people immediately dismiss you as a crank. Just FYI. At this point it really doesn't matter what you say.

He was talking about what his thoughts were as a child. It would be dishonest to leave them out, wouldn't you say? I'm not proud of it, but when I was a child I once thought the street was melting. I'd absolutely put that in an autobiography.

Its really NOT a secret anymore so the warriors of the far right do not have to pretend that it is not being waged. That cover has been blown.

I suspect that few if any of the various forces that existed in the decade of the 1850's expected a war or they or their sons to die in it. But it came just the same.

There was very little "outrage" last time this came up.. that is until one of your own started a shooting spree targeting the political opposition...

but regardless of that... the "left" did not have to manipulate comments or take them out of context like what Fox News and you lot have done here.

This is a prime example of Libbo dishonestly and hypocrisy. Jared Laughner didn't have any kind of political affiliation and the Libbos took advantage of the coincidence that Giffords was his victim, when he picked a random politician to go nut job on.

And, so far, no one from the Left has said a word about,

Andre Carson saying that the Tea Party wants to lynch blacks.

Maxine Waters saying that the Tea Party can go, "straight to hell", and they are, "the enemy.

John Lewis flat out lieing about being called a nigger and getting spit on by Tea Partiers.

Obama called the Tea party the enemy.

Joe Biden called Republicans terrorists and barbarians.

Not a word, about any of that.

There's going to be riots when Obama gets voted out and it's going to started by some of the same Leftist culprits I listed above, but the blood will be on the hands of all Libbos, for not saying something, before it happens.

Giffords was shot by a disgruntled crazy dude... politics ,as reasonable people understand it, was not involved.
the Austin plane guy was simply a disturbed idiot of no coherent political persuasion.

for anyone to sell them as right wingers ( or left wingers) is inaccurate and not backed by evidence or facts.

the wiki article touches on loughner's motivations.. but more importantly, disputes accusations made here about his political leanings.
Loughner's best friend, Zach Osler, disputed speculation by media commentators that Loughner's actions were fueled by partisan politics and rhetoric, insisting, "He did not watch TV, he disliked the news, he didn't listen to political radio, he didn't take sides, he wasn't on the Left, he wasn't on the Right," and instead conspiracy theories had a profound effect on him.[10] Another friend, Zane Gutierrez, later told the New York Times that Loughner's anger would also "well up at the sight of President George W. Bush or in discussing what he considered to be the nefarious designs of government."

he was, and is, a nutbar

Jospeh stack ( the Austin plane guy) wrote a manifesto... and really, it's ideologically incoherent and a bit crazy... he basically hated everything, especially the IRS. he hated corporations, unions, government, business, Bush, the FAA, the catholic church, health insurance, bailouts, .. and probably kittens too.
in other words, he's another nutbar.

The fact is, they were all lone nuts. The only one that even remotely had a political agenda was McVeigh.

Where were you during the Crown Heights riots? Or the Rodney King riots, where Maxine Waters condoned an attack on Reginald Denny, causing him permanent brain damage, when he suffered a blow to the head? I guess that OK, since it's racist to criticize black folks. Yes?

It's not the Right that has killed millions of jobs.

am i supposed to change my opinion just because a contributor to Forbes disagrees with me?...

you last sentence kind of reads like you really do want an actual war....
good luck on that, but i won't give you any pointers on surviving or winning this war you fantasize about.

And what were you saying about the Giffords shooting, again?

edit: And the Sarah Palin rhetoric that people were talking about at the time, I mean.

Again, this is different? :lamo

of course you are. Libbos aren't into independent thought, unless it's Liberal independent thought.

Yeah, it's very obvious you read the books. :2rofll:

Dreams of My Father was first published in 1995 and he wrote it about his childhood and early adulthood. Understand? He was writing about his feelings when he was a kid.

You know what would be really fun to see? Those ****ing worthless parasites at the AFL-CIO should actually create industry...business...jobs. Instead of leeching off the investment of productive folk, they should decide on a product-say, a car, and build, from the ground up. They should for once PRODUCE industry instead of constantly sucking off people that actually DO. What a WONDERFUL world it would be if those ****ing worthless parasites actually ENGAGED instead of contributing to driving the American worker, who they profess to give a **** about, over the cliff.

I just saw the video and when Hoffa says "let's take these SOB's (abbreviated) out." He also talks about being in a war and liking a good fight. Liberals went nuts when Rick Perry likens the debt to a black cloud, but acquiesce to the message of violence directed at their opponents.

I guess some things never change...:popcorn2:

Right, again, this was an introspective book about his mental process as he was growing up. I've actually read it, so I understand the context. Have you?
Nice try, but the language is clear to even the casual observer. Try the argument from authority on your liberal friends.

Hoffa. Spoken like a true Chicago street rat packster. A made man.

What's this idiot trying to do? Compete with Rush Limbaugh?

He sounds more like a Tea Party whacko than a mealy mouth, politically correct, demowussycrat.

But he's kinda right. We do need to send the GOP packing. But there are more civil means to get that necessity across. That kind of mean spirited talk is what is costing the GOP so dearly in the minds of mainstream/moderate America. The democrats need to stay as far away from that type of stupid rhetoric as they can. Better yet, just leave it for all the Tea Party/GOP John Wayne wannabes. We simply cannot afford their vision in America anymore. Their time has come and gone and we are still paying dearly for it. They have the Mr. Pooh touch. Everything they touch turns to **** for the average Joe. Only the rich are getting anywhere and even some of them are getting eaten by their own. The cards are all stacked in their favor and we can thank the GOP for that as we watch our savings go from our pockets to theirs.

To be replaced by whom? Form a one party government; a Liberal party at that?
