Which of the current republicans running do you think has the best chance of denying him a second term?

    No, that's just spin.
The White House noted to ABC News that the Bush administration was the first to consider Solyndra's application and that some executives at the company have a history of donating to Republicans.

The results of the Congressional probe shared Tuesday with ABC News show that less than two weeks before President Bush left office, on January 9, 2009, the Energy Department's credit committee had voted against offering a loan commitment to Solyndra.

Climate, changes. It takes a particularly uneducated population to buy into the idea that it's their fault climate is changing and further political solutions can fix it.

Lotsa luck on the straws that you’re grasping at, must be hell looking at Obama only polling 46% and the leading republican(perry) polling 39%.

Gotta look at the timeline before you can get anything to stick. Loan guarantee was made in 09, audit in 2010. Notice the difference in market conditions in them two years?

Some say(a famous fox news source) that there was a world of diff between them two years. Keep grabbing at what evidently looks like logs to you; in reality they are very small, straws.

More Obama incompetence comes home to roost. It really doesn't matter who runs against him at this point. He is political toast.

Obama White House Warned Solyndra Bad For Reelection - ABC News

Beginning in March, ABC News, in partnership with the Center for Public Integrity's iWatch News, was first to report on simmering questions about the role political influence may have played in Solyndra Inc.'s selection as the Obama administration's first loan guarantee recipient. The loan had been shelved by the Bush administration but was fast-tracked just days after President Obama took office, and one of the major investors in the company is an Obama fundraiser who has visited the White House 16 times, including four meetings with such senior aides as Valerie Jarrett, Austan Goolsbee and Pete Rouse in the months prior to the loan's approval.

As it has been reported, where's the blind eye? Seriously, you guys have to pay closer attention.

AUSTAN GOOLSBEE: I think the world vests too much power, certainly in the president, probably in Washington in general for its influence on the economy, because most all of the economy has nothing to do with the government.

To the actual issue, this is not good, not smart, and if at all illegal, the president is not above anyone else IMHO.

As for him losing the election, it all depends on who he runs agianst.

The only real Republican in the race is Huntsman, the rest are baggers, with the exception of Dr Paul and he has about as much chance in getting the nomination as i do.

If the republicans want to win in 2012, they will have to come up with something besides whats on the plate now.And going around looking for nonexistent scandals on Obamas not going to get the job done either.

Illegal? Not likely. It was just another case like with the auto bail out where he put those who contribute to his campaign ahead of the taxpayers.
