One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.... John Rogers

I don't think Costco is who was sucking on the slurpee that fell.

Costco was the person responsible for the spill. What don't you understand about responsibility?

Call me old fashioned, but I think anybody commenting on legal issues should have at least a basic understanding of what they are talking about. Clearly you do not.

What don't you understand about "you made the mess, you clean it up"? There's your responsibility.

IF the person who spilled the beverage had been found it's possible that he or she may have been jointly liable. But short of that, it's the business owner's responsibility to maintain a reasonably safe place of business.

Can you explain how someone in this case can slip "on something all by yourself" without the cause of the item on the floor?

    This I want to hear.
