Thx, I'm looking forward to reading your information.

When questioned by Issa during a hearing, Holder said he only recently, within the the last few weeks, was aware of Operation Fast and Furious. The document below proves he lied.

Watch this video, which is an interview with Issa about the operation, including his response about Holder.

Felipe Calderon called this a terrorist attack, and cited the US appetite for drugs as being at least part of the reason for the attack.

Lashing out at corrupt officials in Mexico and "insatiable" U.S. demand for drugs for fomenting the violence, Calderon urged the U.S. Congress to stamp out drug consumption and stop illegal trafficking of weapons across the border into Mexico.

"We're neighbours, we're allies, we're friends, but you are also responsible," a sombre and angry Calderon said to the United States in a speech after meeting his security advisers.
I think he's right, myself, on both counts.

I love the head of one of the most corrupt governments in the world whining about US guns when the Mexicans have a murder rate that is astronomical despite its gun bans Most of the guns those thugs are using come from Military and police corruption as well as places like Venzuela

Wow. Really? US politics and and a really stupid ATF plan were responsible for a bunch of thugs killing 53 people at a casino. So gun manufacturers really ARE responsible for violent crime? So car manufacturers are responsible for people killed by drunk driving?

Posting drunk again? Stop that! Are you implying I am saying Obama is responsible for this?

He can directly blame the BATFE and Eric Holder, in other words, the US Government, for some of it, i.e. Operation Fast and Furious.

I understand Calderon is frustrated because he is so obviously powerless to do anything except lash out at those he thinks are responsible. I haven't seen any information where he accepts any responsibility for being ineffective either. Maybe a leadership change in Mexico is necessary as well.

I also think the drug war in the US is unwinnable. Drastic times require drastic measures.

I agree and most of the violence is along Mexico's southern and northern borders that said, IMO this isn't violence...it's a war, and the Mexican government as corrupt as it is can't do much about it. So until the Mexican government treats this as a war the violence will continue. Perhaps Mexico should ask for help from a government who isn't so corrupt, then again we are extremely busy minding at the moment everyone else's back yard.

I have been to Mexico many times and it is a lovely country with very gracious people, perhaps some day I will return.

How stupid it that. There is no way in hell I would cross the border for any reason.

I under stand that in 2010 over 34,000 people were killed by the drug cartels in Mexico.

They also love to kidnap Americans.

So do you think it's a good idea to go there?
