He's a tough dude. He was diagnosed years ago.

He has said he has a rare and particularly non-aggressive type of pancreatic cancer. He had the tumor removed, said he was cancer-free a few years ago, and hasn't said anything about it since really.

iTunes is projected to contribute $13 billion to Apple's profit by 2013, so it's not exactly a loss leader. Analyst: iTunes to boost Apple revenue by $13B in 2013 | MacNN

Credit where credit is do: Jobs built the company from the start. He left and Apple came close to falling off the map. He came back and built it into the most valuable company in the world.

Definitely looks like wasting syndrome. This paper says that "Cancer anorexia-cachexia syndrome

Profit and revenue are not the same thing.

That is certainly true. Was there any point to this or did you just have to meet your quota for stating the obvious?

Why, oh why, would I write something like that? Oh, I don't know, perhaps because you don't know the difference between the two:

So are you going to answer my question, or are you going to keep stating the obvious?

Keep digging. The hole you're in doesn't look like it's deep enough yet. My you have some chutzpah for turning this onto me. A period of reflection might do you some good. Go back and reflect on what you have written, grasshopper, and the mystery shall become clear to you.

Wait a moment. When you said that I was stating the obvious, you must clearly have meant that you admit that you don't know the difference between the two concepts.

If you keep typeing for a million years we may be able to assemble your words into something that makes sense -- sort of like the million monkeys typing hypothesis.

iTunes generates considerable revenue and will be a significant profit engine in the coming years. Do you have any comment on that?
