Black caucus: Tired of making excuses for Obama

And this is when some are claiming Obama is already bouncing back from low poll ratings.

    Maxine seems pissed to me.

Black caucus: Tired of making excuses for Obama | Campaign 2012

During a sometimes-raucous session of what's being called the "For the People" Jobs Initiative tour, a key member of the Congressional Black Caucus told an audience in Detroit Tuesday that the CBC doesn't put pressure on President Obama because he is loved by black voters. But at the same time, Rep. Maxine Waters said, members of the CBC are becoming increasingly tired and frustrated by Obama's performance on the issue of jobs. Even as she expressed support for the president, Waters virtually invited the crowd to "unleash us" to pressure Obama for action.

"We don't put pressure on the president," Waters told the audience at Wayne County Community College. "Let me tell you why. We don't put pressure on the president because ya'll love the president. You love the president. You're very proud to have a black man -- first time in the history of the United States of America. If we go after the president too hard, you're going after us."

So a racist group is mad and asking it's racist followers permission to hammer Obama.

    Yawn.
Climate, changes. It takes a particularly uneducated population to buy into the idea that it's their fault climate is changing and further political solutions can fix it.

Can you imagine the fallout had a group calling itself the White Caucus made a similar statement.

First if the were such a group they would be called racist, and be hounded out of existence, but if you are Black, Asian, or Mexican id okay to be a racist, and accuse others of exactly what that group is doing, but that doesn't change that what Maxine Waters said indicates that Obama is in trouble with a growing number of people even some Radical Liberals.

    Poor, poor white folk.

AUSTAN GOOLSBEE: I think the world vests too much power, certainly in the president, probably in Washington in general for its influence on the economy, because most all of the economy has nothing to do with the government.

For those keeping score at home...Maxine Waters just told a bunch of black folks "we cant go after him for not doing his job because you people are too busy loving on him solely because he is black." Well. I never.

Unless of course she meant she wanted to "go after him" ala Rick Perry and those crazy Texans!

I don't see it as racist, more poking a little fun at the silliness above it. White folks have their own groups, many have talked about the rich boys clubs white males belong to. White people, particularly white males, are not an abused minority. Man up, stop whining so damn much. Being conservative shouldn't mean whining about everything for the media to race. And frankly, most conservatives don't.

Boehner said he'd create jobs, but then he said he didn't care if jobs were lost because of his budget cuts...

The people need tell DC which one is more important: create jobs or focus on the deficit, because the GOP nearly ****ed us all with the debt ceiling debate.

All the minorities should apologize to the white man, and then let him have his white man caucus...

the reality is, your examples of "white" clubs, are not "white" clubs at all... if a group happens to have all white people in it... you can't just assume that its a club/group for white people, there are many potential alternative reasons of tendencies that a lot of African descended people just don't feel comfortable in them, its almost astounding how as a whole how reclusive the "black" cultural population group can be, differentiating themselves.
Now if something comes off so obvious as calling themselves Black caucus, there is not even a question---> that's something completely different and i feel as racist qualities, or at least a group that wants to maintain the structure and idea of race.
