wrong. it may be discrimination, but it is not, by definition, racism

    this actually is racism
Both are racism. In the school, they left the minority in a failing school, not allowing admission to those of color. At the public school, the police chief was teaching math as he was the only person they could get.

    racism:

    rac∑ism   /ˈreɪsɪzəm/ Show Spelled[rey-siz-uhm] Show IPA
    noun
    1. a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various human races determine cultural or individual achievement, usually involving the idea that one's own race is superior and has the right to rule others.
    2. a policy, system of government, etc., based upon or fostering such a doctrine; discrimination.
    3. hatred or intolerance of another race or other races.

Some sociologists have defined racism as a system of group privilege. In Portraits of White Racism, David Wellman has defined racism as "culturally sanctioned beliefs, which, regardless of intentions involved, defend the advantages whites have because of the subordinated position of racial minorities”.[14] Sociologists NoŽl A. Cazenave and Darlene Alvarez Maddern define racism as “...a highly organized system of 'race'-based group privilege that operates at every level of society and is held together by a sophisticated ideology of color/'race' supremacy. Sellers and Shelton (2003) found that a relationship between racial discrimination and emotional distress was moderated by racial ideology and public regard beliefs. That is, racial centrality appears to promote the degree of discrimination African American young adults perceive whereas racial ideology may buffer the detrimental emotional effects of that discrimination. Racist systems include, but cannot be reduced to, racial bigotry,”.[15] Sociologist and former American Sociological Association president Joe Feagin argues that the United States can be characterized as a "total racist society"[16]

    - :"Police harassment and brutality directed at black men, women, and children are as old as American society, dating back to the days of slavery and Jim Crow segregation. Such police actions across the nation today reveal important aspects of . . . the commonplace discriminatory practices of individual whites . . . [and] white dominated institutions that allow or encourage such practices.."[17]

yeah, a white guy in downtown Atlanta or Crenshaw will definitely face some rampant racism

The other, of course, involves orcs.... John Rogers

Been there. As a white guy. Not so bad. Not near as bad as driving or walking while being black.

Yes, it is always proper to leap to the absurd in an effort to avoid the actual issue. Bravo. Well done.

A perfect example of this is what liberals do to keep minorities in the inner cities poor, on welfare and angry about being oppressed by "The Man".

Here is an excellent 3 part series that puts this issue into better perspective.

hmm...what exactly do liberals do to keep minorities poor, deny them jobs? deny them education? very silly. now, we could talk about more welfare reform, but let's face it, you probably don't know much about welfare and how it really works.

btw, why don't liberals keep white people poor too?

let's examine some of the trite bull**** found within your second cite [could not open the third one]

... In both countries, those who have achieved less have been taught by the educational system, by the media and by politicians on the left that they have a grievance against those who have achieved more. ...
please show us examples of the education system telling the underclass that they have a valid grievance against those who have achieved more
now do the same for the media
likewise the politicians of the left

... Moreover, there has been a growing tolerance of lawlessness and a growing intolerance toward the idea that people who are lagging need to take steps to raise themselves up, instead of trying to pull others down. ...
now give us evidence that lawlessness is now more tolerated
show us examples where the underclass are told they should not take steps to help themselves up
show us examples where the underclass is told to pull others down rather than helping themselves

in short, your opinions as well as your cites are full of ****
we are negotiating about dividing a pizza and in the meantime israel is eating it
once you're over the hill you begin to pick up speed
