Bachmann wins Iowa straw poll, keeps momentum

Most GOP male voters are not yet comfortable w/a female President since they (still) believe a woman's proper place is in the kitchen and bathroom, while the man should go out and work.
From your post, it sounds like it's the libertarian females that don't get out of the house much.

Calling Obama a Marxist in pracctically every single post is.

I have not called him a Marxist in even one posting. He does believe in income redistribution. That is something I think Karl Marx would have approved of or am I wrong about what Marx believed regarding redistribution?

Just imagine I posted a picture of Godwinn's cat her. I would do it for real, but it's late, I am tired, and I am pissed at the wrestling PPV.

Marx believed workers should own the means to production.

Right, and so has every President since the inception of the income tax. In fact, the tax code was FAR more progressive under Truman and Eisenhower. Were they Marxists, too?

Too? Who have I said is a Marxist?

So you do NOT think that Obama is a Marxist? Just to be clear.

I have never called him a Marxist. Whether he is or is not, I do not know him intimately, so I cannot answer precisely whether he is or is not. I think he is just confused about some issues and how they should be handled. That doesn't make him a Marxist. That's my opinion and others may legitimately or illegitimately differ.

Of course, if I were like some around here from the left side of the aisle, I could say he was a nutcase, but I have not said that either. I don't try to be ridiculous or sublime like some routinely do here. I hope you do the same.

Well, let's put it this way: it is patently absurd to think that Obama *might* be a Marxist, so it is clearly NOT reasonable to maintain the position that he may or may not be a Marxist.

I think someone would have to make the argument and provide the evidence that he was a Marxist. If that was done in a clear and convincing way, then I could believe that Obama was a Marxist. To my knowledge, limited as it is on the subject, I don't know of such an argument, but I cannot say that an argument cannot be made.

..obama's just a loser..

black child of a broken home, goes to Harvard Law, is elected Senator and then President, father of lovely children and husband to a wonderful wife?

Barack Obama is a winner. A winner that any man should envy.

Okay, that's fine. And in the same spirit, I would say that Michelle Bachman may or may not be a pedophile. And Ron Paul could be a serial killer. Who am I to say?

And the question would be has anyone made an argument to those facts and provided clear and convincing evidence?
