Two people who have been to target of a one year undercover investigation for selling, quite openly, raw milk have been arrsted.
Agents raid raw food club, farm
There has been a shift since the first raid in that now the attack and milk dumping is because the store didn't have appropriate business permits. Right. Of course. "You don't have a business license so I'm dumping your milk down the drain."
The two miscreants arrested are being held on bond.
"Palmer was being held at a Ventura County facility on $121,500 bail. Stewart and Bloch were being held at facilities in Los Angeles County on $123,000 and $60,000 bail, respectively."
Well, I guess I just can't think of anything more pressing than arresting people for selling raw milk. And, I'd sure want to set their bond as high as I could. They're a serious public risk for failing to bow down.
For the record, I don't drink milk, raw or otherwise. I will confess, since I think the statute of limitations has expired, that in 1970 I bought raw milk and showed my kids how to make butter and cheese. I know. It terrible.
