Rising Misery index 7.83 to 12.67. First President in U.S. History to have our credit downgraded on his watch!
    I can use notepad too.

In 2008 Bush handed Obama the worse job loss (2,590,000) since 1945 which was 2,750,000. Even worse than Reagan's job loss in 1982 of 2,130,00. Nov. and Dec. of 2008 were 2 straight months where the economy lost over 500,000 jobs.

    Total 2008 job loss: 2.6 million - Jan. 9, 2009

so this is 2011 and the job losses of 2008 are justification on your world for the job losses today. There are 2.9 million fewer employed today than when Obama took office and there are 25 million unemployed or under employed Americans. GW Bush never had those kind of numbers. Interesting that you would focus on 2008 and not 2011, 2 1/2 years after Obama took office. You obviously cannot defend the Obama record.

Gov. John Kitzhaber on Tuesday proposed cutting nearly half the beds in juvenile prisons along with steep cuts to funding for education, health care and other programs.

Kitzhaber's budget proposal closes a big spending gap without widespread tax increases.

In the real world there is no fix-the-horrific-mess-the-Republicans-created-(again) button. Obama was saddled with a real estate disaster of epic proportions that, to a large extent, will simply have to work itself out over time. Of course there were also millions of people working in the construction and real estate industry and the finance industry that lost their jobs. Obama can't snap his fingers and put those people back to work.

Try to see reality. Take off your wingnut goggles for five minutes.

Republicans created? Who controlled the Congress from 2007 to 2011? Who had a blank check to fix the problems? Obviously you have never run anything because you cannot delegate responsibility. I find it interesting that we are 2 1/2 years after Obama took office and are still blaming Bush. Did you ever take a civics class?

Don't put words in my mouth, I mearly pointed out that the economy got its severe form of cancer before Obama entered the WH. Lending institutions were not lending the much needed cash businesses to thrive. They laid off people as a result, this in NOT President Obama's fault no matter how much you say it is.

Banks concocted $14 trillion of toxic assets that S&P rated AAA between 2003 and 2008

The patient is dying on Obama's watch. Didn't he inherit a AAA credit rating from Bush?
