Program won't cover 9/11 responders for cancer

What have I claimed that I am entitled too?
Is this just another, "attack the person, not debate the topic" posts?

Let the pity parade begin!!!

No Harry, we're refuting your hypocritical stance of supporting fraud. Those workers were told the site was safe. It wasn't and now they deserve to be FULLY compensated

He didn't say that, he said it was related to my beliefs.
He is attacking me, not the argument.

You seem to be confused. It wasn't "he" who said that. It was ME

I pointed out how you have changed your argument with no regard for your own beliefs. It's hard to believe that someone believes what they are saying when it is in complete opposition to the beliefs they have argued so passionately in other threads

He did attack my beliefs, including you.
I am not changing my argument.

Unless you're admitting to having multiple accounts.

Do you understand the difference here.
Could the carcinogens in the air cause cancer, yes.
Did they cause the cancer?

Yes, no or ?

I understand the difference, but I'm not sure you do because you started out arguing one, and then switched to the other.

As I said, I want to find out why they need the money if they already ahve adequate coverage.

well, then why don't you get in touch with your sources (LOL!) and find out

that way, next time you contribute to a given topic, you'll actually KNOW something

that's how it works

Just to clarify my position on this.
I think those with supposed conditions, from the fall out from the WTC, should have provisional coverage for their conditions until it is determined that it is the actual cause of their condition.

I just really hate all the emotive reasoning obscuring the actual causes for this.

thank god the responders value your lives more than some of you value theirs.

Reality at it's finest.

Government cannot do everything, cannot solve every problem and fund every issue. Despite the pipe dreams of the liberals. That's why we're 15,000,000,000,000.00 in the hole and counting.

Okay, let's put on the table those things that you cherish and cut them. I mean your attitude is f everyone but me. So, let's start with you, what do you want to give up, and don't say Medicaid for the poor, because I am hoping you ain't poor. Brother, I am American, and I am willing to sarifice, what are you willing to give up.

With all due respect to you, I don't know you, so I have to assume that you love your freedom, I know I love mine. But, we are in debt crisis, so nothing is off limits. We have to cut those things that allow me to enjoy my freedom, e.g., military, police, intelligence agencies, fire, emergency responders, etc. This includes the men and women who put on the uniform. Are you willing to make cuts here. Seems fair, you want to make cuts and pay less taxes, so let's cut here, so you are less protected.

Again I assume you like to travel to the store to purchase supplies, or you like to travel with you family to Disneyland, or you may just drive to work. Again, with all due respect, I don't know you, but I know I like to travel. If we cut, we need to cut here, this means no repair to roads and bridges, not traffic control devices, no mass transportation, no airports or harbors or rail centers, no air controllers. Seems fair, you want Americans to sacrifice, shouldn't you sacrifice this luxury?

Point I am making is this, you want sacrifice, what sacrifice are you willing to make on your end, not someone else's end? I don't see that coming from the Right. All I see is we need to cut and the Corps need to pay less then they pay now?

Really, you hate the emotional reasoning involving 9-11? Wow, I don't know about you, but 9-11 scarred me to the point that the thought of that infamous day makes me angry.

Unfortunately, emotions stir a lot of policies and politics. The right is stirred every time health care reform is mentioned, the moral conservative is pissed off if you mention abortion and gays, the leftist get mad if you want to thin a forest because they want to save an owl instead of the forest, or the liberal that wants to give the farm to the lazy a hole that wants to drain society, or the Arizona Conservo Nut that talks about their hero Sheriff Joe (sorry had to put that one in their for my AZ brothers who love this idiot).

You know what makes me emotional? When I hear that those who make the ultimate sacrifice get screwed, e.g. Wounded disabled vets, Vietnam vets who were spat on, Vietnam Vets who were sprayed with a herbicide and those in gov't who had the same attitude "we need more studies to prove agent orange caused your cancer." Or Americans and Politicos who refuse to study history and keep repeating it, e.g. Vietnam Vs Iraq, Agent Orange Vs. the pollutants from the twin towers crashing to the ground.

Sorry, this topic will always be emotional. I still get pissed everytime I see the planes fly into the Twin Towers.

Damn that was good!! I hope you don't mind when (not if) I steal that argument.

I'm ok with less protection. Go ahead.

Next?

1) Nobody is saying that corporations should pay less, only that it wouldn't be a good idea to make them pay more.

2) American businesses have been and will be making plenty of sacrifices, due to government intervention for decades, now.

3) Maybe the stealfromus money would have been better spent, had it gone to something like this vice funding research trips to China to look dinosaur eggs. Or, maybe we could have done without a few unicorn milk programs?

Plenty of rightwingers are saying that corps should pay less. Many are arguing that the wealthy are paying too much.

2) American businesses have been and will be making plenty of sacrifices, due to government intervention for decades, now.

Business profits are at record highs right now. Some sacrifice

You mean the stimulus bill that was laden with tax credits? I thought the rightwingers loved tax credits!

Well, time to throw another rightwing idea under the bus

$15 trillion??? You are quite off. Please see the US debt clock (U.S. National Debt Clock)

Would a trillion dollars cover it?

I would certainly hope so. If you have paid any attention to my post history you would know that governmental fiscal inefficiency is a big problem in my book. That having been said, their are some things that I have no problem allotting my tax dollars to. This is one of those things.

Yes of course it's all the fault of the liberals. Is there anything more simplistic that Foxspeak?
