How bout this teaparty!!!!!!!!!!!!!

- Americans are more likely to approve of the way President Obama is handling the negotiations to raise the federal debt ceiling than they are to approve of the handling of the situation by Speaker of the House John Boehner or Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, although opinions about all three are more negative than positive.

Obama may rate higher than the Tea Party, but his approval rating is still under 50%, which means that America is sick of his ass as well. It ain't just the Republicans screwing up this nation. Takes two to tango, and the Democrats have been perfect dance partners.

Fail, fail, and fail more is still FAIL!

Pretty good point.

It's not really much of a victory to be the best of a bad bunch.

Not to mention looking at specific language in the OP...

Americans are more likely to approve

Doesn't nessecarily mean that they will.

This struggles highlights Obama's miserable leadership. He has no plan. He's running scared, owned as he is by the American Left, and he's hiding behind the Democrats in the Senate, as usual. Obama's is worse than useless. He's criminally incompetent.

Your posts always make me laugh. How do you feel about the fact that a lot of the Left are not happy with Obama?

very true and I agree...and this has all been said about other presidents...but in the end we all get to vote for just TWO...Obama and...and the and will make all the difference in the world...right ?

At this point it's obvious that the republicans in Congress are spectacularly irresponsible as well as being jaw-droppingly incompetent. The majority leader is incapable of whipping support for his OWN bill, let alone forging a compromise with Democrats.

What's amazing to me is that no one seems to be commenting on the sucking vacuum that is the field of republican presidential contenders. Aside from loony-toon Bachman's insistance that she would tank the economy, I have yet to hear a single peep from this motley crew on what is shaping up to be the the most lethal self-inflicted wound in generations.

The world has gone crazy.

"The people" are sheep. Two weeks ago the people were dead set against raising the debt ceiling. Not at all shocking what a few press conferences and media blitzes can do. Tell them the sky is falling in, they believe it.
Reid and Boehner SHOULD get the majority of the blame. Obama can certainly do a more effective job as a leader but it is still congress' job to work out the legislation> taht includes the minority leaders in botht the house and senate as well. Both sides are playing games hoping the other falls on their sword.
