the founders didn't want the masses who had no property voting either
Or non white men

So you would agree with monopolies? Child labor? Risky loans that ruin lives? Complete unregulation? Pure capitalism?
Seriously? This is how your knowledge works? This is your process of thinking? Is this supposed to be a response?
Or non white men
with your signature, its funny you are ranting about "thinking". socialism is a malignancy
Yeah, if you have no skin in the game you really don't have much reason to vote responsibly. It would be like letting street bums vote for the management at some company merely because those bums piss on the front lawns of the company and sleep on the park benches in front of the main entryway
It is?
How you figure that?
Oh yea you try to explain this to me all the time because supposedly only "lazy people like socialism"...
I've never seen anyone with more contempt for the working class that produces 90% of the wealth in this country that the top 10% hordes.
The wealthy should be more careful than to bite the hand that feeds. Or not, which will push the country to make the needed corrective course for progressive taxes again just as the country did after the last time the wealth desparity was this great in the 1920's.
The Founders Did Not Intend For America to Be Run By Big Banks and Wall Street
Oh I know let's ask the Founders what they think of corporations. Here is one one from Jefferson. “I hope we shall crush in its birth the aristocracy of our monied corporations which dare already to challenge our government to a trial by strength, and bid defiance to the laws of our country.” I think we lost that one.
The left promotes policies that increase the middle class. The right promotes policies that destroy the middle class and places them in the poor house.
So who's promoting a welfare state?
It appeals to people who are socialists and put people before profit....socialism appeals to several groups
First off socialists do not want the "government to take care of us."1) the dependents who want government to take care of them
everyone is an idealist bud.2) air headed idealists
Good god you have no idea what socialism is...3) machiavellian control freaks who see a socialist government as reins upon society they can grab
Once again Kucinich speaks the truth.
Leftwingers and socialists talking about what the Founders intended; now that's hysterical.
Really=-can you find some evidence for that
It appeals to people who are socialists and put people before profit....
First off socialists do not want the "government to take care of us."
You have no idea what socialism is just from this first one......
everyone is an idealist bud.
Good god you have no idea what socialism is...
Remember George Orwell in 1984 speaking out against big gov and big brother? Guess what he was a socialist... Does he want the gov to control everything? Cuz apparently to TurtleDudes world that is what socialism is... George Orwell a socialist spoke out against that...
Would that not be the 15 th Amendment?
You make stuff up constantly. your workers of the world unite and rise up is specious BS. welfare socialism is the opiate that keeps your kind fat and happy and too stoned to do a damn thing.
Our libertarian friends who profess to be so in love with the Founders will somehow someway find an excuse to overlook that particular wise bit of advice from Mr. Jefferson.
Like Paul Simon wrote in THE BOXER.... "a man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest". Those on the right are deaf in one ear.
It's nothing compared to when Michele Bachmann talks about history.
At least they know where Revolutionary War started unlike that idiot Bachman. Please, spare me the Bachman bull****. It's a ****ing joke for leftists to even say the name of the founders. They hate the Constitution and want to change this country into Europe. That's a generalization that is generally true for most. But you're a centrist right? Yeah sure. I don't believe in centrists and moderates.

NOpe-try again
Since no turtledude seems to think socialism equals big government totalitarianism let's hear from an actual socialist. Albert Einstein. Even turtledude can't be foolish enough to call Einstein lazy or whatever insults he usually uses. Read this to learn what socialism is: Why Socialism? :: Monthly Review
